Who You Are:

PartySlate seeks a highly-motivated individual to join the rapidly-growing marketing team. The Product Marketing Manager will partner with leaders across the organization in marketing, product, and sales to effectively educate B2B and B2C users on the PartySlate product. The Product Marketing Manager should be a strategic thinker who can translate complex data and information into digestible marketing campaigns to attract and convert users. 

Responsibilities might include: 

  • Serve as the PartySlate product marketing expert, understanding the value, functionality, and nuances of each product feature

  • Lead creation and refinement of differentiating product positioning, value propositions and/or concepts in conjunction with the product management team

  • Educate target consumers and event companies on the core PartySlate product to generate repeat users and attract new users through word of mouth 

  • Leverage customer personas to customize strategic marketing campaigns

  • Educate customer success and sales managers on the value and benefits of PartySlate product features to effectively communicate with clients

  • Partner with product team to launch campaigns around new product features through strategic marketing channels including email, social media, website, and events

  • Partner with sales and customer success teams to create educational and sales collateral outlining the value of our product features within memberships

  • Use market research data to establish product pricing in collaboration with product and sales

  • Track and report on campaign KPIs, including open rates, unsubscribes, conversions, and more, and use learnings to drive further optimizations

  • Thoughtfully communicate learnings and insights to leadership team and across departments 

  • Utilize data to provide additional insights and implement testing and optimization strategies

  • Strong understanding of the product go-to-market life cycle and a track record of launching products in agile product development environments

  • Proactively partner with editorial, email, content, and social media teams to ensure a cohesive omni-channel marketing strategy and execution

  • Maintain PartySlate brand integrity through all product marketing communications

Qualifications should likely include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, or related field

  • 3-5 years experience in product marketing, digital marketing and/or product management 

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to optimize campaigns

  • Excellent writer with attention to grammatical and brand details

  • Naturally detail-oriented and self-driven individual

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

Our Chicago office where we were founded is in between The Merchandise Mart and East Bank Club. We have a flexible hybrid work environment and have employees located all over the country.
