Are you interested in a joining a product marketing team at a FORTUNE 100 company? As a Product Marketing Team Lead, you will provide guidance, instruction, direction and coordination to ensure quality, timely and innovating marketing is delivered to our clients. Also serving as a team member, you will deliver a strong product marketing plan for digital tools and systems within our division. You will work hand-in-hand with other clients to develop a product marketing strategy, create enticing content, deliver webinars, generate web and video copy, develop presentations, and more to help us drive adoption with stakeholders and end users.
As an experienced marketer and team lead, you will bring a unique combination of leadership, technical knowledge and business savvy to help our digital product teams succeed.
JOB DUTIES:
A Product Marketing Team Lead will apply leadership and expertise to drive marketing execution within the framework of enterprise tools, processes and strategies.
•Apply marketing knowledge and leadership while consulting with the product marketing team.
•Develop and execute product marketing plans as they pertain/connect to the assigned digital portfolio of products.
•Interacts extensively with industry groups and digital product groups to understand the appropriate capabilities, integration points and deployment of digital products as well as providing marketing consulting back into the organization.
•Initiates and executes product marketing projects and activities that drive and build digital awareness in global regions and multiple business units, industry groups and/or Dealers.
•Drives proper collaboration, coordination, training, communication and alignment among the product marketing team.
•Drives efforts related to future-focused product marketing strategies related to digital programs and deployments and helps provide direction.
•Interacts and gains experience with digital capabilities to develop strong digital acumen to communicate with partners and stakeholders.
•Manages marketing agency suppliers, tracks and monitors progress, and ensure quality deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Employee is also responsible for performing other job duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time to time.
Basic Requirements:
•Four-year Bachelor’s degree preferably in product marketing, general marketing, communications, or public relations
•7-9+ years of job-related experience, typically in product marketing, general marketing, communications, or corporate communications.
•Strong design and operational implementation skills -- this is a doing role!
•Knowledge of the full Office 365 suite
•Experience in leading and guiding peer groups, and coordinating portfolios of work
•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to interact across all levels of the organization from team members to executive management is required.
•This position requires strong skills working with people from different backgrounds and cultures, internally and externally, and the ability to influence and resolve differences and issues.
•The work environment requires this position to adapt quickly to high velocity and change.
•Project and program management, including communication and change management planning is also required.
•Will manage a team of 5-10 peers, BUT is NOT a supervisory role.

Broad business background, specific long-term industry knowledge and excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated track record of effective B2B messaging development, and successful product launches
Excellent human relation, project management and customer service skills - with a proven ability to develop a cooperative work relationship both inside and outside the division.
An ability to apply user insights, research, analytics to strategies.
Strong presentation skills and examples of Successful Marketing and Communication Strategies with results. Business to Business (B2B) Marketing / Creative Agency experience.
Ability to effectively collaborate with people across many different backgrounds and cultures, internally and externally, with the appropriate influence and ability to resolve differences.
