We are looking for an analytical and driven revenue operations professional to join our team!  You’ll be responsible for building, owning and maintaining our go-to-market processes, reporting, and tech stack.  

As a fast-growing SaaS company, agility and speed is part of our DNA.  To do this effectively, transparency into our revenue “engine” is incredibly important - it lets us spot opportunities, identify bottlenecks, and find solutions.  This role will be at the forefront of that effort:  you’ll ensure that we have a complete picture of our go-to-market operations, and that this picture is clear across our company.

You must be detail-oriented, with strong prioritization and communication skills. You have a passion for technology and analytics. You’re someone who gets excited to roll up their sleeves and understand the details, is always curious about the “why,” and wants to help build our Revenue Operations function as we grow.

Responsibilities:

Own our marketing and sales technology stack.

    • Be the go-to expert on our go-to-market technology (marketing automation, CRM, internal reporting tools)
    • Lead projects involving our these tools, including:  technical management of marketing campaigns, measuring and reporting results, or building automations to support our Sales teams

Build transparency into our “revenue engine.”

    • Ensuring we have effective self-service reporting
      • Design, develop and maintain critical metrics, and provide reporting across our teams
      • Ensure data accuracy and end-to-end health of our databases
      • Structure our lead scoring and definition. Build out the new lead scoring in our automation platform and Salesforce
      • Continually measure and report on the performance of core conversion assets and campaigns
    • Perform targeted analysis to help us understand the “why” behind the data, for example:
      • Conduct campaign and A/B testing analysis with our growth marketing team, with a focus on performance optimization
      • Develop and implement a multi-touch attribution model
      • Develop a deep understanding of our target buyer personas and customer journeys

Continuously improve our processes.

    • Design, develop and maintain core marketing operation processes
    • Create operational documentation including the mapping of workflows and procedure

Qualifications

  • Proven quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a marketing/sales operations, or analytics, function 
  • Proficiency with a marketing automation tool (preferably Marketo), and CRM (preferably Salesforce)
  • Experience integrating marketing automation software with other technologies
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders and cross-functional team members
  • Proficient in BI platforms, ideally Tableau
  • Familiarity with SQL
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and developing non-obvious insights from existing campaigns

Location

We became a distributed workforce in March 2020 as a result of Covid-19 and will remain distributed moving forward. Our Chicago HQ still remains but we want our team to have flexibility around when and where they work.
