We are looking for an analytical and focused inbound marketing manager to take the lead on developing our marketing operations processes and reporting as part of our demand generation team. This individual must be detail-oriented with strong prioritization and time management skills. The ideal candidate is excited to roll up their sleeves and be a critical member of a new and growing team that is going to have an immediate impact on Narrative Science.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Demand Gen team on campaign implementation and own technical management of programs, which includes building, documenting, determining attribution, and reporting results. 
  • Conduct A/B testing, and analysis, with a focus on performance optimization
  • Continually measure and report on the performance. Design, develop and maintain critical marketing metrics, custom reports, and dashboards.
  • Become a subject matter expert on marketing technology platforms and our website
  • Own database management and implement best practices to ensure data health and accuracy
  • Develop a deep understanding of our target buyer personas and customer journeys
  • Design, develop, maintain, and document core marketing operation processes. 

Qualifications:

  • 3-7 years of professional experience in an inbound marketing, demand generation, or marketing/sales operations function.
  • Experience in creating and deploying effective life-cycle email, inbound and outbound campaigns
  • Experience in owning a marketing automation tool or related CRM
  • Proven quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Google Analytics 
  • Ability to own reporting processes
  • Must be comfortable learning and working with various technologies
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders and cross-functional team members
  • Prior experience working for a B2B or SaaS company

Bonus:

  • Marketo and Salesforce admin experience a plus
  • SEO experience is a plus
  • Drift or conversational marketing tool experience
  • Experience with Wordpress

Location

We became a distributed workforce in March 2020 as a result of Covid-19 and will remain distributed moving forward. Our Chicago HQ still remains but we want our team to have flexibility around when and where they work.
