Senior Director, Corporate Marketing
Cribl is looking for a Senior Director of Corporate Marketing. We are a fast-growing, remote-first company with a mission to unlock the value of all observability data. We provide our customers with a new and unprecedented level of observability, intelligence, and control over their real-time data. We're backed by Sequoia and CRV, and our products are deployed in some of the largest organizations in the world processing 100s of TB and PB of IT & Security data, and managed by Site Reliability Engineers, System Engineers, and Technical Operations teams.
In this role, you will oversee awareness, branding, creative services, corporate messaging, AR, PR, customer advocacy, the Cribl Community, corporate events, organic social, and the website. This leader will work with other marketing leaders to influence and implement the marketing and brand strategy, as well as with stakeholders from product groups and functional organizations across the company that rely on corporate marketing services and expertise. This leader will define, implement, and measure strategic, global corporate marketing initiatives that build awareness and consideration for the brand, and provide air cover for ongoing marketing and sales efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the corporate marketing and brand strategy resulting in consistent
branding, messaging, and positioning. - Build, develop and retain a high-impact, results-oriented global team which will steward and
manage the brand globally and cross-functionally. - Present a relevant and differentiated brand across multiple marketing efforts including
advertising, digital, events, web properties, media and analyst relations, executive speaking
opportunities, thought leadership, and community. - Manage and extend the Cribl community program and team
- Build and manage the Cribl customer advocacy program, including the EBC (Executive Briefing
Center) - Define and execute programs to engage with influencers such as media, analysts, and industry
thought leaders, to ensure they have a positive and current view of the company, aligning
messaging with product and solution marketing - Manage AR and PR team and relationships globally, guiding relevant topical press coverage for
the company and external thought leadership placements for key executives. - Ensure a coordinated and consistent presence at internal and external corporate events that
meet or exceed pre-planned objectives; aligned with the demand generation and pipeline objectives
for external events - Manage the team responsible for the corporate website on a day-to-day basis ensuring
success through SEO, driving both awareness and contribution to pipeline - Manage the interface with external agencies including but not limited to PR, advertising,
branding, creative services, social, events, and web. - Develop and manage the company’s corporate marketing budget
Qualifications:
- 10-15 years of experience in a high-growth enterprise technology company with direct
responsibility for corporate and/or growth marketing strategy and execution. - Experience leading the development of exciting and effective awareness and brand marketing
campaigns that influence buyers, utilizing the talents of a cross-functional group of directly-
managed and influenced resources to achieve success and market impact. - Track record of evolving a brand’s position to a new market category that aligns it with current
market and customer priorities - Experience managing multiple web and digital properties including website, blog, community,
and social platforms - Ability to determine, implement, and adjust the mix between internal- and vendor-resources
particularly in the areas of advertising, creative services, and event management to drive
optimal outcomes. Build and manage relationships with chosen vendors. - Ability to manage and plan at both the strategic and operational levels
- Ability to influence team to buy-in fully to the approach and execute goals and objectives with
enthusiasm. - A proven track record identifying, recruiting, and developing talent, ability to lead in a fast-
paced start-up - Passion for results and performance oriented
- Sense of urgency and the ability to infuse that in others.
