Provides leadership within the Peapod Digital Labs' organization in developing best in class loyalty strategies that drive sales and customer retention across all channels. Oversee all aspects of loyalty strategy development, works cross functionally with Ahold Delhaize's USA brands (Stop & Shop, Food Lion, Giant Food, Giant/Martin’s, and Hannaford) and internal stakeholders to ensure strategies come to life in an optimum fashion.

 

Recipe for Success - What's “in store” for the role

  • Ensure each loyalty program is hitting all annual goals.
  • Oversees the loyalty and lifecycle marketing in collaboration with each brand for all loyalty programs – driving sales, loyalty, and retention
  • Work with internal stakeholders including but not limited to campaign operations and offer delivery to ensure optimum loyalty program execution
  • Work cross functionally with Analytics to measure results, glean insights, and help develop a robust test and learn plan to dive continued program optimization
  • Work closely with the digital experience team to ensure UX enhancements are aligned with the loyalty strategic vision 
  • Work collaboratively with each brand’s finance team to ensure the loyalty budgeting is aligned with goals and utilized efficiently
  • Oversee the relationship with all 3rd party vendors supporting the loyalty programs to ensure deliverance of support needed to drive stated goals



The Essentials In Your Cart - The required ingredients

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent combination of education and related work experience with a focus on loyalty and personalized marketing
  • 10+ years' experience in loyalty marketing with an emphasisi on strategy and operations.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of time to build personal relationships and effectively manage the team

  • Ability to be effective across a matrixed organization and leverage cross functional roles to drive success
