Rise Interactive (http://www.riseinteractive.com), a rapidly growing full service interactive advertising agency, is looking to hire a Senior Internet Marketing Consultant, Social Media. We are looking for a detail-oriented, highly motivated, analytical and tenacious individual that is excited about getting involved in an entrepreneurial company with an expanding Fortune 500 client base.

 

 

Summary and Scope

 

The Senior Internet Marketing Consultant, Social Media will be responsible for various social marketing activities, including strategic campaign development, optimization, and performance analysis for our clients that drive consumer engagement. The Senior Internet Marketing Consultant, Social Media will have superior analytical, organizational and time management skills as s/he will be expected to be able to work on multiple projects at the same time. She/he must display a service-oriented, positive attitude for clients and colleagues, coupled with an appreciation of business realities.

 

This position will develop winning social media strategies that activate consumers and encourage repeated site visits utilizing current and emerging social media practices. Additionally, this role will be involved with other Rise channel teams when required.

Responsibilities:

Social media strategy

  • Analyze and evaluate industry benchmarks/market research regarding competitor’s social media programs to identify gaps and social media opportunities for improvement i.e. content strategy and frequency of content deployment
  • Establish client’s position in a social media stratosphere and determine content strategy that presents client’s social media program in compelling and unique context
  • Develop and present info graphics to communicate social media effectiveness
  • Ascertain what methods will be used to syndicate content i.e. Twitter, Facebook blogs, etc. to capitalize on social media trends
  • Help client’s find success with unique and timely promotional campaigns featuring incentives to join the social communities such as exclusive content, contests, insider access or other opportunities
  • Identify key stakeholders in social communities and work to grow the distribution of content, with the goal of growing volume of line client content to drive traffic
  • Manage various social platforms to develop new campaigns and edit existing one to ensure ROI for clients
  • Watch and check social media trends, tools, technologies, and recommend direction for investment and implementation
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of client goals in order to forecast budgets, create campaign structures and take complete ownership of multiple client accounts
  • Extract insights from campaign data, identify relevant trends and provide well developed proactive recommendations to enhance and exceed overall social marketing goals and objectives

Account creation

  • Plan, manage and create all social media accounts for clients: Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Be an ambassador for client’s brands in each of these social media outlets and introduce targeted campaigns
  • Implement/execute design work to align social media efforts with other marketing activities to influence customer behavior and engagement
  • Provide and maintain high volume of daily posts across Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter
    and blogs
  • Provide daily account management, including contact with clients and internal departments to ensure flawless communication and program execution

Content strategy and development

  • Demonstrate clear understanding of overall client messaging and develop innovative social campaigns to engage and attract new customers
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop /revise content for varied audiences in a professional manner
  • Create innovative new content across social media platforms (blogs, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Tumblr, etc.) and ensure message consistency
  • Audit client content to determine how value can be demonstrated and leveraged
  • Create content for editorial calendar
  • Develop client approval process to implement social media campaigns
  • Manage creative partners to develop creative content i.e. Video, Mobile

 

SEO integration

  • Keep up to date on the impact of social media on SEO
  • Educate the SEO team in social strategy and mediums
  • Ensure that each client social media strategy is leveraging the benefits for SEO
  • Engage in SEO strategies i.e. Link Building, to broaden agency value

Measurement and reporting

  • Work with analytics team to develop standard reporting practice
  • Provide reports to clients on an agreed upon basis – weekly/monthly
  • Provide competitive intelligence on an ongoing basis to
  • Report to the SEO Manager and other relevant managers on a weekly basis the status of each account

Sales

  • Work with digital strategy team to develop a social media audit
  • Work with digital analyst to complete social media audits as required
  • Be available for presentation for prospective client calls. Be the social media expert
  • Available for current client calls when required.

Research

  • Display curiosity of social media by researching new blogs and channels for relevancy and trend identification
  • Conduct, gather and analyze market research to determine social media opportunities and competiveness
  • Monitor and advise clients of the latest trends in social media marketing that add value to their brands

Syndication

  • Coordinate and deploy creative assets based on editorial calendar

 

List/Database Acquisition

  • Determine value of new “fans” or “followers” of social media campaigns
  • Evaluate and monitor quality of social media contacts
  • Work with Account team to develop subscriber list acquisition strategy
  • Work with appropriate channels to implement list acquisition strategy
  • Work with Analytics team to track traffic and conversion
  • Work with Analytics team to report results of social media activity

Required Skills:

  • Direct knowledge of and comfort level with common and leading social media platforms
  • Active in the social media space i.e. blog, twitter, published articles, etc.
  • Highly analytical and strong understanding of performance metrics as they relate to social endeavors. Knowledge to social media performance tools a plus
  • Fundamental knowledge of social advertising opportunities across the major social platforms
  • 4+ years experience directly working in social media and SEO, including demonstrated understanding of SEO and how it is affected by social
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Wordpress, and latest web development technologies
  • Ability to integrate social media into broader marketing campaigns
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products especially Excel
  • Knowledgeable with social listening tools such as Tweet Deck, Radian6 or Google Alerts
  • Advanced analytical ability
  • Strategic and creative thinking – always focusing on innovative, but measurable client solutions
  • Extremely ambitious and hard working

  • Deeply familiar and passionate about the World Wide Web and online marketing
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal with engaging presentation skills
