The Senior Manager- Customer Marketing-Strategic Accounts is an essential role in the Away From Home (AFH) Business Unit (BU) leading all marketing initiatives for a select few of our largest- most strategic customers in the AFH business. Strategic Accounts initiatives include developing strategic priorities for your customers and developing and implementing full go-to-market strategies meeting the objectives of the business.
AFH is all about Taste- Flavor- and Experience and the Strategic Accounts channel with our largest chain accounts is a place that all three elements come to life on the biggest stages of the restaurant industry. We have aligned and dedicated specific resources to support current and accelerate new- high impact strategic initiatives for this Strategic Accounts channel and with that brings high visibility and high expectations. This role provides a unique opportunity to highlight our portfolio of #1 brands- some of the most iconic brands in the world- on a national level- diving deep with big customers and providing exciting consumer experiences.
The Senior Manager- Customer Marketing-Strategic Accounts role provides an opportunity to demonstrate a broad range of marketing skills from menu branding and digital marketing to full consumer targeted campaigns. Also- developing and launching branded innovation with both internal and customer innovation teams while collaborating directly with the respective Brand teams. This role also provides c-suite visibility and requires a highly effective relationship builder to initiate- maintain and navigate multiple relationships.
Success in this role would mean developing a clear strategic path for Kraft Heinz and the customer for the next 3+ years- developing and executing the highest quality marketing programs- branding- and innovation projects- creating a deep network of contacts to drive progress- while understanding and effectively managing the full go-to-market process.
This role provides direct interaction with cross-functional activities including Consumer Insights- Sales- Brand Marketing- Operations- Research & Development- and Finance- resulting in strengthened marketing fundamentals and a holistic approach to driving business growth. This role also interacts with customer and industry partners- developing direct relationships to effectively drive the marketing agenda and support the overall customer strategy.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Marketing lead for Strategic Accounts
  • Responsible for marketing strategy development and execution to drive channel and customer growth in accordance with brand and Away From Home strategic priorities
  • Supports joint business planning driving marketing strategy with priority customers
  • Develops and maintains relationships with customer and industry counterparts
  • Drives collaboration- development- and execution of initiatives internally across functions
  • Monitors and analyzes sales volumes- market share trends- and competitive activity
  • Performs in-depth analysis of research and insights data- reporting on and integrating findings into multi-channel marketing programs to optimize their performance
  • Initiates and maintains R&D projects through the scoping and commercialization processes
  • Weekly reporting on initiatives and business drivers and weekly- monthly- quarterly strategic direction/items to execute against
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders including but not limited to: Sales- Category/Brand Marketing- Finance- Project Management- R&D- Operations- Culinary- and Consumer Insights
  • P&L management- indirect ownership supporting Finance and Sales and understands key levers to increase profit.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business- Marketing or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in multi-channel marketing- product management- brand management; Foodservice experience a plus but not required
  • Strong numerical and analytical skill set with ability to interpret quantitative data and perform detailed trend analysis utilizing raw volume data
  • Experience managing a P&L or Strategic Initiatives for a business is a plus
  • Outstanding verbal- written and interpersonal communications skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to persuade and build coalitions and credibility across organizations
  • Ability to handle simultaneous projects and deliver within agreed upon time frames.
  • Experience in marketing plan development: situational assessment- strategic and tactical plan development
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and internally motivated to drive improvement every day
  • Strong organizational and project management skills

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment
