The company, with locations in Chicago and St. Louis, recently announced closing $21M in third-round funding to power expansion and hiring, supporting industry-leading clients including Unilever, ConAgra, Albertsons, Meijer, Dole, and numerous other CPG brands and retailers.

We are looking for a naturally curious, goal-driven marketer with a strong desire to mature in their craft, learn new things, and grow their career. As a key member of the marketing leadership team you will play a critical, hands-on role in the development and execution of the marketing strategy in support of the overall company strategy, specifically the acquisition of new customers. You will be accountable for creating market demand for Label Insight solutions and executing lead generation activities to bring qualified leads into the sales cycle. Partnering closely with the sales organization, you’ll help to enable the team to more effectively move prospects through the sales cycle to conversion and improve sales productivity. This position will report to the Vice President of Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  •       Develop and demand generation programs to meet the new customer acquisition objectives of the organization.
  •       Develop and execute lead generation campaigns to build the sales funnel in support of new revenue goals.
  •       Define and develop sales tools, platforms, and processes to improve sales productivity and results.
  •       Aggressively and collaboratively partner with sales leadership to drive demand and convert sales pipeline to bookings.
  •       Articulate, champion, and advance Label Insight’s unique market differentiation as a platform to acquire new customers.
  •       Be a complete business partner to all other functions within the company.

Requirements:

  •       5+ years of B2B technology marketing experience. CPG experience a plus.
  •       Experience in SaaS environments, particularly selling into the CMO’s office or ecommerce leaders, is preferred.
  •       Sales experience is a plus.
  •       Must be willing and able to drive strategy while also being operationally hands-on.   Strong willingness to roll up your sleeves and be involved with driving execution.
  •       Exceptional track record of developing and implementing successful inbound and outbound demand generation and lead generation programs.
  •       Proven success enabling sales teams to be more productive through repeatable and scalable tools, platforms, and processes.
  •       Hands-on experience with sales automation (e.g., salesforce.com) and marketing automation (e.g., HubSpot) platforms.
  •       Experience managing and executing integrated trade show and event programs.
  •       Strong digital marketer with experience across a broad range of digital marketing tactics including website design, SEM and social media.
  •       An understanding of the creative process and experience with a practical application of brand identity systems.
  •       Comfortable and effective in working with limited budgets.
  •       Understands and effectively operates within a high-growth technology company.
  •       Track record of effectively managing outside agencies and vendors.
  •       Excellent communicator to both internal and external parties. Ability to comfortably communicate at the senior executive level.
  •       Exceptional copywriting and editing skills.
  •       Team-oriented and collaborative to the core.
