What We'll Bring

As the marketing lead for TransUnion’s US Diversified Markets business, you will manage the internal client relationships with vertical business executives, lead the Diversified Markets marketing associates and own the development and execution of marketing strategies, plans and performance-driven demand generation campaigns leveraging our global operating model. You’ll identify and drive marketing growth opportunities that deliver on the Diversified Markets vertical’s business goals in close collaboration with sales, partners, product and business leadership.

You must be highly strategic and nimble, with a proven track record in effectively translating complex business needs and product offerings into compelling marketing plans and programs, while leading the creation of content and sales tools aligned to marketing strategy and focused on specific buyer segments at all stages of the customer journey, resulting in positive business outcomes.

Expertise in full-funnel acquisition and nurture campaigns), as well as deep experience in cross-channel marketing strategies is needed, as is the ability to measure and report on program effectiveness and recommend opportunities for improvement.

What You'll Bring

10-15 years of successful marketing experience with focus on data/technology solutions in a B2B or agency environment

Demonstrated experience contributing to business objectives and revenue growth

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or equivalent

Demonstrated experience building relationships and collaborating across large and complex client business environments

Proven full-funnel demand generation experience

Exceptional communication and writing skills, including the ability to articulate business concepts and present to executive and management team members

Creativity, flexibility and initiative with the ability to accept delegated responsibility, manage team members, work independently and collaborate in group settings 

Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with acute attention to detail

Excellent prioritization and organizational skills

Impact You'll Make

Serve as trusted marketing partner and advisor to the Diversified Markets senior leadership team and build long-term client value by effectively delivering marketing strategies, plans, solutions, execution and results that are in line with marketing budgets, global business objectives and vertical priorities and growth targets

Lead direct reports focused on specific Diversified Markets industries, while also maintaining full marketing management of all other industry segments within the vertical

Understand current market positioning and performance and highlight opportunities for greater marketing impact on the business

Anticipate vertical’s marketing needs, and lead the development, management, execution and measurement of marketing plans and programs designed to solve those by guiding and collaborating with marketing support teams

Acquire the necessary knowledge of the Diversified Markets customer segments, TransUnion solutions, and unique value proposition at the business and product levels in order to effectively set actionable marketing strategy plans, and measure success and campaign performance metrics and KPIs to vertical leadership and effectively communicate that knowledge to marketing partners

Proactively present innovative and creative marketing ideas to Diversified Markets leadership solutions, and challenge them when necessary, to ensure programs attract customers and elevate TransUnion’s brand

Develop and manage the marketing budget, monitor it quarterly, and reallocate funds based on recommend changes to vertical leadership utilizing program performance results

Create strategies that incorporate thought leadership, industry research, advertising, solutions collateral, webinars, trade shows, proprietary events, public relations, social media, partnerships, etc. to initiate and develop multi-channel, integrated B2B marketing campaigns that increase awareness of our brand, deepen relationships with existing customers and win new business

Own all aspects of marketing program management from conceptualization, initiation, creative brief development, pre-campaign strategy, content and creative alignment, and campaign execution with cross-functional resources to ensure projects are of the highest standards and completed on time and within budget

Understand the needs of sales leadership and drive alignment and support among their associates by collaborating with and educating them on program objectives to strengthen campaign follow-up and accelerate the customer buying journey

Perform other related duties as assigned
