We are looking for an experienced Senior PR Manager to join our growing Marketing team. As a Senior PR Manager you will be responsible for building our brand reputation within the media world. You will build relationships with journalists, publishers and agencies to constantly find the stories that will get our brand and product out there. You will work closely with our leadership team and other internal teams to always be on top of upcoming news, releases and strategies.
What you will do:
- Lead TravelPerk’s positioning in the media
- Define the strategy that will generate public awareness about our brand/products/news.
- Align communication strategies with our brand goals.
- Build long-term and meaningful relationships with all relevant stakeholders, leadership, internal departments, peers, media people, journalists, politicians, etc.
- Secure opportunities with Tier 1 business trade in the US.
- Write/review press releases and share the information with the media.
- Define KPIs for PR and analyze performance.
- Arrange and budget for PR events, campaigns, and initiatives.
- Lock interview opportunities through TV, radio, and magazines for the benefits of our brand.
- Allocate and work with agencies/freelance/writers to align messaging across different geo’s.
- Craft and implement crisis communications guide.
- Strengthen the brand position through awards submissions and speaking opportunities.
- Work as team
- Align and coordinate with content produced for blog and social media accounts.
- Have an in-depth and detailed understanding of TravelPerk products, market and strategy.
- Work closely with the leadership team, provide guidance and feedback whenever is needed.
- Input into the overall strategy
- Build actionable reports for the VP / C level team regarding the performance of our PR strategy.
- Input into the overall strategy based on outcomes.

- Mentions derived from our PR strategy.
- Level and depth of the media coverage.
- Relevancy to our strategy and or regional goals.
Who will this role report to:
- VP of Brand (or in his / her absence CRO).
What you need:
- Strong professional skills
- Creative thinking and writing, great storyteller, always finding the right angle that will get the media to pay attention and pick up stories.
- Proactive spirit - always be on the hunt for opportunities.
- Attention to details.
- Understanding of various scenarios and the demands of the market
- Strong personal skills
- Patience, congeniality, and thirst for knowledge.
- Media friendly - ability to create meaningful relationships with journalists and publishers.
- People skills - ability to interact and work together with internal leadership and other peers.
- Tolerance ability - be able to handle complex situations and pressure.
- Relevant background
- 5+ years of prior experience working in PR.
- Native or near native English level.
- Consistent track record of developing and implementing successful campaigns.
- Tech-savvy with a strong online presence on one or more social networks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience handling media relations.
- Experience doing PR with US focused brands and media.
Bonus points for:
- Proven relationships with media/journalist.
- Experience of working in a PR agency.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
