As a product marketer at Box, you're responsible for developing positioning, messaging, and integrated go-to-market plans to drive awareness and industry business growth.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Act as the subject matter expert for the Box developer platform (APIs, SDKs), and enterprise applications powered by Box Content Cloud, from technical architecture to market positioning, monetization, and developer journey experience
Understand and translate industry trends and insights to influence product and go-to-market strategy by conducting market research, participating in customer briefings, and analyzing metrics
Develop messaging, positioning, segmentation, content, pricing & packaging, and go-to-market plans for product and feature launches and deprecations
Drive awareness and demand for various Box Platform and infrastructure marketing and customer success initiatives (campaigns, social/digital media, roundtables, regional events and webinars, third-party activations, account-specific initiatives, strategic partnerships, and more)
Develop content for external marketing channels (blog posts, e-books, presentations, 1-pagers, thought leadership) as well as for GTM team enablement (outbound plays, battle cards, pitch decks, webpages, call scripts, email templates)
Work closely with the Product Management and Product Marketing leadership team, sales reps, and internal subject-matter experts to effectively represent the developer and platform perspective
Most importantly, you will be an evangelist and cross-functional leader who unites marketing, sales, customer success, and product teams to drive business results for Box developer platform
WHO YOU ARE
SaaS B2B platform or developer marketing experience; strong understanding of an enterprise sales cycle, persona needs, and what sellers need to be successful
Bias for action and ability to execute quickly, juggling multiple deliverables
Strong business intuition: understanding of what keeps executives up at night
Competence and enthusiasm for messaging, positioning, monetization, and content development
Passion for a test and learn approach to decision-making, including being comfortable iterating
A "make it happen" mindset
