POSITION SUMMARY:
Aprimo is seeking a seasoned Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our team. You will be expected to bring innovative ideas and creative strategies to accelerate Aprimo's growth and thought leadership in the Martech space. You will bring your prior experience in SaaS software marketing, and knowledge of the Martech stack to help craft positioning, messaging, support GTM strategies, and sales enablement. Reporting directly to the VP of Product Marketing, you will have a high-visibility, high-impact opportunity that allows you to exercise your strategic vision, business acumen, storytelling skills, and technical martech expertise.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Work with the head of PMM to develop company and product positioning, messaging, and storytelling to establish and grow Aprimo as a leader in the martech space
  • Aid in the engagement of customers, analysts, industry influencers, and Aprimo sales and product teams to gain a deep understanding of the market and buyer personas' needs and priorities
  • Partner with product management and content marketing to harvest, centralize rollout and enable our teams with powerful messaging, storytelling and intel that will help us grow revenue.
  • Work with our VP and Product Marketing Associate to develop market and competitive intelligence, acting as a thought leader and a subject matter expert in the space
  • Stay abreast of competition and work with sales to highlight differentiation and support them in competitive sales scenarios and sales playbook strategies
  • Collaborate with product and sales teams to develop value-oriented content and narrative to deliver differentiated and engaging marketing content including solution decks, fact sheets, use cases, web pages, videos, battle cards, and more
  • Help the team shepherd and execute go-to-market strategies for product launches and feature releases
  • Collaborate and build relationships with industry analysts, Aprimo demand generation, and event teams to build industry momentum including support for thought leadership, eBooks, speaking opportunities, etc.
  • Build sales enablement materials to support our customer facing teams through the buyer's journey. Collaborate with product, design, content marketing and other key stakeholders to ensure the broader team is enabled, aligned, and executing on our strategic marketing vision

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS & WHY YOU'RE A GREAT FIT FOR THE ROLE:

  • The Essentials
    • Bachelor's Degree in business or technical discipline, or equivalent years' experience - MBA or equivalent experience preferable, but not required
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience required in product marketing or product management, ideally with B2B product marketing in the martech space
    • 3+ years of experience in marketing SaaS products in martech ideally preferred
    • Proven track record in building momentum and thought leadership in a Product Marketing org
    • Experience with high growth SaaS companies strongly preferred
    • The drive to own high-impact projects from day one

    • Detail oriented with analytical skills and ability to use a data driven approach to demonstrate solution ROI.
    • Experience in global cross-functional collaboration to drive key initiatives with the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to remain in stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods and performing sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing
  • Must be able to move about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
  • Must be able to perform light physical work that includes lifting or moving objects up to 20 lbs. or medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds on occasion
  • Must be able to communicate with others to exchange information, including conveying detailed or important spoken instructions to others accurately, loudly, or quickly
  • Must possess the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication at normal speaking levels
  • Must be able to repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers (i.e., repeated typing, etc.)
  • The worker is required to have close visual awareness to perform an activity and to assess the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned, such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.
