Mission for the position

As Senior Product Marketing Manager your mission is to design, develop, and manage the performance of product lines enabled by the Leap platform. You will be a fervent customer advocate and use your deep market knowledge to identify and translate opportunities into new and improved products. The current product portfolio includes a range of retail store deployments in select markets for several retail categories, including clothing, jewelry, shoes, consumer packaged goods, and more.

Platform-enabled and scalable product lines are a fundamental element of our business strategy. In this role you will lead cross-functional teams to bring that strategy to life.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and manage the performance of product lines enabled by the Leap platform
  • Conduct and present market research to guide product line development
  • Lead cross-functional teams including executive, marketing, real estate, growth, customer success, technology, product management and others to deliver product lines

Additionally, you will:

  • Assist in building a team-oriented product-driven culture in the company

Competencies for Success:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, or combination of relevant education, experience and training
  • 10+ years of related experience in a comparable product role: Retail preferred but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Continuously develops and leverages business and technical knowledge
  • Applies discovery techniques to know the customer
  • Develops a vision and strategy
  • Leads without formal authority (takes ownership)
  • Takes a position and demonstrates well-reasoned judgment
  • Forecasts and measures, gathers data and evidence
  • Simplifies (decomposes and focuses)
  • Facilitates team processes to translate product line strategy into actionable scope
  • Executes (fills gaps, removes barriers, garners support, and more)

  • Establishes strong relationships with colleagues across the company and effectively leads cross-functional teams
  • Consistently designs, develops, and manages product lines that are focused, aligned with company strategy, and generate value for brand customers
  • Ensures product lines generate a healthy margin for Leap
