Senior Social Media Specialist at Affirm

We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to bring Affirm’s voice to life across our social channels! You will help us lead our channels day-to-day, building and growing a presence across Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn! We are looking for someone with proven experience managing channels, building a content pipeline, and take an analytical approach to evaluate performance. You are always on top of what’s trending, applying your findings to engage with current users and reach new audiences. You excel while working on multiple projects and maintain attention to detail. This is a highly collaborative role, working with multiple cross-functional partners.
What You'll Do- Lead all aspects of the management of Affirm’s social media channels including scheduling and posting on social; community engagement, and reporting.
- Assist in the development of social media-first campaigns, aligning with Affirm’s broader business goals and marketing strategies
- Concept and execute merchant social media campaigns for tier-one partners including Neiman Marcus, William Sonoma, Target, and others as needed
- Execute social media strategy through all phases of development, preparing creative briefs, managing content approvals, and tracking critical metrics
- Continue to evolve Affirm’s presence across social channels to ensure Affirm is portrayed authentically and consistently through voice, tone, and content
- Maintain the social content calendar collaborating with Partner Marketing, Comms, and Brand
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and concept social media campaigns supporting the Integrated Marketing calendar
- Ensure all legal and compliance reviews are secured in a timely and consistent fashion
- Share social media insights, trends, and developments with the broader Marketing team
- 3-5 years of social media experience
- Content expertise across platforms, specifically in Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest
- Experience working with social management tools and systems
- Strong organization and project management skills; comfortable working on projects and running multiple channels at the same time
- Strong collaboration skills working with partners across various functions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- You are thoughtful, inventive, and have strong attention to detail
- You have a passion for staying at the front of social media trends
- A strong sense of emotional intelligence and a real passion for connecting with and serving customers
- Photoshop experience a plus
