Department OverviewThe Global Marketing Operations team is responsible for the management, measurement, and tracking of marketing strategies and tactics supporting the business and sales objectives for the company. This function is part of the Global Digital Marketing Strategy & Ops team, which is responsible for the prudent and thoughtful use of various marketing technologies to drive engagement and interest in our solutions with our customers. The team manages not only our digital web properties but also the entire martech stack, including the marketing automation platform that our marketers rely on for efficient campaign management.
This candidate understands the value Search Engine Optimization can bring to our marketing organization. You will be responsible for the optimization of our digital properties, ensuring they are performing, as well as making recommendations on areas of improvement. Your role will focus on working cross functionally with multiple stakeholders across regional marketing, product marketing and our web team. You are focused on using data to drive the right conversations with our leadership team in order to help guide investment to the right areas as well as make tactical suggestions that will drive meaningful engagement results.
Strong understanding of the digital ecosystem focusing on the organic channel
Evaluate organic search performance data and provide insights and actions around keywords, landing pages, content, and competition in order to drive improvement in organic rankings
Expertise of key on-page SEO factors, including meta descriptions, page titles, canonical URLs, 301 redirects, and hreflang tags for SEO.
Use technical SEO analysis to audit website and provide recommendations to digital team
Create processes to ensure the ongoing maintenance of technical issues
Utilize ongoing keyword research and on page optimization strategies
Proactively identify gaps and solutions, both technical and content, ensuring competitive advantage
Focus on competitive analysis in real-time and share insights with business/web owners
Participate in web strategy to ensure that new releases do not impact organic rankings negatively
Support migration of acquisition web pages and ensure process does not impact search equity
Streamline execution and testing of recommendations
Manage SEO tools including SEMRush
Work in close partnership with the business, regional, and web teams to align SEO strategy with business needs
Minimum 2 years of SEO experience
Bachelor’s degree in analytical related field preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Expertise of using Google's suite of supporting tools, including Search Console, Analytics
Expertise utilizing SEO solution platform, such as Brightedge and SEMrush to perform keyword research
Understanding basic SEO related concepts : crawling, rendering, indexing, schema markup, de-indexing, disavow tools, sitemaps, robots.txt, meta tags, nofollow links, redirects, http status codes
Google Analytics Academy, Adobe Analytics or equivalent
Experience using 3rd party tools such as: Screaming Frog, Deepcrawl, Ahrefs, Majestic, Searchmetrics, Kerboo
2+ years of SEO/Marketing experience
