Company Overview:

The Paramount Group is a family of cutting edge culinary and hospitality brands based in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood.  The brands, which include Paramount Events, The Lakewood, HighGround, Eden, Paramount Fresh and more, are collectively owned and operated under one roof.

Founded in 2011, Paramount Events was the starting point of The Paramount Group and is now the city’s premier catering company specializing in events, weddings and drop-off. Known for excellent service, innovative chefs, and impeccably sourced ingredients (many even grown onsite), Paramount Events is an industry leader in the catering and events community.  With capabilities to host small private dinners for 2, drop off meals at offices, or put on large-scale events for up to 10,000 people.  Some notable events include NeoCon, Chicago Gourmet presented by Bon Appétit (Chicago’s premier annual epicurean event), and many other galas in the Chicagoland area.

While many of Paramount’s functions are catered off-premise, in the Summer of 2016 the company expanded with the opening of The Lakewood, an onsite event venue known for its versatility.  The Lakewood is perfect for weddings, corporate events, dinners, and gatherings. The Lakewood can host a seated dinner for 225 guests, or a cocktail party for up to 300. At the opposite end of the building, Eden is an American restaurant with a Mediterranean influence and a focus on locally sourced ingredients.  Since opening in Winter of 2016, Eden has received citywide praise for its fresh cuisine, onsite grow house, experienced culinary team, and modern ambiance.

The Paramount Group family continues to expand, in 2018 we introduced Paramount Fresh – Fresh Market Delivered, Lake Street Staffing – Premier Staffing Agency, Spaces at 1756 – Offsite Meeting Spaces, and West Lake Market – A Local Monthly Market.
