We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to join our Integrated Marketing Team in Chicago, IL. 

General Functions + Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the RXBAR head of social media, developing and executing best-in-class social and influencer approaches in alignment with key stakeholders
  • Develop RXBAR's overarching social media strategy, bringing RXBAR's voice and brand to life across multiple platforms to our current and future social communities
  • Weave a strong vision with emerging trends, compelling content, pop culture conversations and analytics
  • Collaborate with creative teams on creation of creative assets and campaigns to drive growth, reach and engagement. Push the boundaries to create compelling content that shows RXBAR’s dedication to being cool, cultured and committed while connecting with followers in fresh ways
  • Maintain a balanced level of assets across all brands/objectives, inclusive of retailers, partners, influencers, UGC, cultural tentpoles, recipes, reviews, etc.
  • Support our global footprint and support applicable countries, raising awareness of the brand and playing a crucial role in the development of RXBAR
  • Oversee community management to make sure engagement across all channels is appropriate, on-brand and as real-time as possible
  • Showcase learnings to the Marketing leadership team, providing monthly insights on KPIs, performance and competitive as well as action plans for growth
  • Develop standards, expertise and best practices to inform and scale across all social channels

Skills + Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years of experience managing social media channels with examples showcasing success
  • 5-7+ years of professional experience working with social media/influencer management and reporting platforms such as Sprout Social, Khoros and CreatorIQ
  • 2-4+ years of content creation experience; ability to adapt to creative processes and partner with internal creative teams
  • An understanding and passion for audience development and growth
  • Experience writing clear social creative briefs, ensuring that all teams have the necessary information in order to achieve content outcome
  • Experience in developing and implementing new approaches and processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills; experience working across different teams to inform and produce content
  • A strong attention to detail in both written and visual contexts and an “always on” sense of urgency
  • Highly creative individual with enthusiasm to conceptualize and implement programs that are disruptive while maintaining brand elevation
  • Proven ability to engage, connect and build an audience across multiple channels
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours outside of normal office hours (ex: cover weeknight and weekend duties)
