So, what’s the role?

We are looking for a Sr. Aggregator & Affiliate Marketing Manager to own our lead generation efforts from Aggregator and Affiliate channels. In this role, you will work closely with internal & external partners to drive growth, pulling many different levers to grow new user acquisitions from our current aggregator partnerships by optimizing different levers (targeting/audience criteria, bid amount, creative, landing experience etc). You will also be responsible to test & scale Affiliate channels.

Here, you will get to be part of a dynamic, data-driven team while bringing your problem solving skills to the table. You will oversee the development, execution & optimizations of the aggregator and affiliate strategies. To be successful in this role, it is crucial that you have a deep understanding of auction-based lead generation platforms, real-time bidding optimization, and experience working with lead distribution software.

A day in the life could include: 

  • Leading prioritization, development and execution of marketing campaigns to drive leads from aggregators
  • Executing end-to-end set-up, optimizations, and maintenance of lead buying campaigns 
  • Driving testing strategies to inform bidding, targeting, creative, & landing page optimization to drive conversion
  • Overseeing aggregator & affiliate channels, and their budgets, ensuring the channel strategies are aligned to business priorities and campaigns are efficient and effective
  • Conducting thorough and continuous experimentation and A/B testing to improve effectiveness and efficiency 
  • Working cross-functionally with Sales, Analytics, Product, and Underwriting teams to experiment with targeting criteria, segmentation to optimize growth and profitability metrics, i.e. #new users, CPL,CAC etc.
  • Performing as an active thought-leader on the home insurance lead landscape; be an internal resource for lead marketplace trends, features, and best practices
  • Finding creative channel strategies to acquire customers 
  • Defining and tracking campaign success metrics

I’ve got the skills… but do I have the necessary ones?

  • 5+ years of experience running lead aggregator, affiliate channels with a proven track record of success
  • 2+ years managing direct reports
  • Data driven to identify channel growth levers, and actionable insights
  • Ability to work cross-functionally on a sizeable team
  • Experience with user segmentation, personas, customer journeys, and LTV
  • Familiarity with a range of marketing technologies and analytics tools 
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem solving skills and a motivated self-started with the ability to handle multiple priorities and expectations

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working with the insurance-specific aggregators (i.e. MediaAlpha, Everquote, QuoteWizard, etc).
  • Proficient with Looker and/or other data visualization tools
  • Ability to oversee and run paid campaigns on our channels
  • SQL experience
