Sr Brand Marketing Specialist (remote), Zoro

Primary Function:
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Brand Marketing, the Brand Marketing Sr. Specialist is responsible for the execution and continuous refinement of brand messaging across all customer touchpoints. This role is expected to have a clear understanding of our brand value and partner with various partners across the organization to bring our brand to life and increase awareness. This person will work to ensure the effective execution of the brand marketing strategy through effective communication and planning.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set meeting cadence and facilitate discussions with key stakeholders to identify all customer touchpoints, creating detailed documentation of current messaging, owners and update process
- Gain a deep understanding of Zoro's brand messaging and value proposition, customer insights and pain points
- Determine a test plan for brand messaging updates as well as measurement for success
- Develop creative briefs that encompass deliverables needed for channels and site, ensure key objectives are met and deliverables are routed for proper approvals
- Partner with the Sr. Manager of Integrated Marketing and channel owners to make sure the right messaging reaches customers at the right time and in the right way
- Work with analytics and research teams to align on awareness metrics and approach
- Develop and maintain deployment schedule and content plan across all go-to-market channels
- Lead the daily implementation of execution plans for brand awareness and brand growth
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2-3 years' experience in brand marketing for eCommerce and/or B2B company
- Proven track record of converting strategic thoughts into actions that drive business results
- Strong interpersonal skills, experience in cultivating relationships with key stakeholders across functions and levels to achieve business objectives and drive strategic change.
- Ability to operate in a complex, rapidly changing environment while adhering to tight schedules and budgets
- Cross-functional team leadership skills
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Use of standard G-Suite programs (Mail, Calendar, Meet)
