Sr. Digital Marketing Manager
About the Role
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, hands-on, and analytical digital marketer. This role provides an excellent opportunity to drive solution and product digital campaign development for Morningstar's B2B business. You will partner with the corporate digital marketing, demand generation, portfolio marketing and creative teams to develop digital campaigns across channels.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of SEM and SEO specialists
- Own the relationship with our SEM agency and set performance expectations
- Lead digital experiences from inception through execution in partnership with Demand gen, digital, ABM and design
- Partner with Sr. Content Strategist to optimize and enhance digital experiences based on data and website analytics
- Lead cross functional collaboration to establish SEM governance for mid funnel themes and keywords optimized to deliver the best user experience
- Collaborate with extended teams on user experience, user research, intent, SEO SEM, Optimization, testing
- Consult with and support campaign manager strategies to optimize outcomes from digital channels
- Leverage 6sense to innovate on Programmatic, display retargeting, paid social strategies by buying stage
- Experiment with new channels, A/B test landing pages, CTAs, digital ads
- Ensure digital programs are optimized for conversion
- Ensure Morningstar's brand is well represented across digital properties
- Develop, implement, and continuously evolve best practices for digital media campaign management
- Collaborate with marketing operations and digital director to report and analyze results on KPIs including share of search, aggregate lead growth, and assist in planning and projecting quarterly targets
Qualifications
- 5+ years of digital marketing experience
- A history of developing business-driving integrated Paid media and organic programs for mid-market and enterprise B2B
- Deep understanding of web analytics, SEO, social media, SEM, A/B testing, and content management
- Hands-on experience in Google AdWords
- Experience optimizing Web sites and campaigns for demand creation objectives
- Proven experience building, growing, and managing teams
- Ability to solve problems and identify opportunities using data & analytics, market research, and strategic frameworks
- Experience managing complex, multi-platform digital marketing strategies
- Experience working within a content management system, analytics tool, A/B testing tool, and marketing automation tool. Technologies available are Bizible, 6sense, BrightEdge, Google Analytics, Google Optimize and Eloqua.
- A deep appreciation for the role of creative and design in marketing effectiveness
- Bachelors degree is required
