The Grubhub Brand Marketing team is looking for an ambitious and creative Senior Director of Brand Marketing with proven experience in managing brand strategy and in developing campaigns and content that have created a deep emotional connection with customers and employees alike. Working across both the Grubhub and Seamless businesses, you'll be a brand leader, storyteller, influencer, and doer working across a range of strategic projects, and will be responsible for developing and driving effective brand management practices across Grubhub.

The Impact You Will Make
- Strategize - Devise and execute an integrated marketing strategy that grows Grubhub's brand and business
- Experiment - Run tests on any channel you want (digital / offline / influencer / PR / email / social) to identify effective and efficient levers for brand and business growth
- Analyze - Leverage market intelligence, consumer insights, and quantitative and qualitative research to craft audience, creative, and marketing campaign strategies
- Influence - Serve as the primary point of contact across all creative agencies, and internal creative partners (Product, Design, Communications, Marketing, Growth, and Strategy & Operations)
- Lead - Build and manage a team of marketers that help grow the Grubhub brand
What You Bring to the Table
- 12+ years of experience in building a consumer brand and growing consumer products / services, with expertise in strategy, marketing, research / insights, branding; advertising agency is a plus but not required
- 5+ years of people management experience
- Deep knowledge of different marketing channels and effective methods for driving growth; including digital, product, OOH, media, advertising etc
- Results-oriented with an exceptional track record of developing holistic brand-first marketing strategies and plans that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives
- Naturally approaches opportunities through a strategic lense - uses this ability to help guide, filter and enhance cross-company initiatives
- Experience in high tech and/or consumer facing brands
- Experience in understanding and utilizing market segmentation
- Experience managing a team, ability to foster a positive team environment through mentorship
- Effective oral and written communication skills, analytical skills
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail who excels both as a leader and player, who can think outside traditional marketing executions to find unorthodox solutions to build our brand
- Values a data-led decision making, but understands it is only one metric through which brilliant marketing occurs

Vaccination Requirement: Grubhub employees are required to be fully vaccinated, and must be able to show proof of full-Covid-19 vaccination, and booster if eligible, prior to starting employment. Fully vaccinated is defined as: "2 weeks have passed since your second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson's vaccine." Those eligible to receive the booster must receive the booster to be considered fully vaccinated, and those not yet eligible will be required to obtain the booster once eligible (6 months post last dose).
