About This Role

The Sr. Manager, Product Marketing will serve as a key player in building outside-in messaging and marketing strategies that will differentiate and drive awareness for Epsilon’s Loyalty product offerings in the market.

 

This position is responsible for defining, delivering, and adjusting product marketing launches and plans that combine an in-depth understanding of the Loyalty product portfolio and its target market.  You’ll interact with executive and cross-functional stakeholders across Marketing, Product Management and Sales to ensure that all product positioning and marketing strategies are aligned with the product’s growth goals.

 

The candidate must have a proven ability to develop strategic go-to-market plans, story-based positioning and value propositions, sales and marketing content, thought leadership and sales training materials.

 

We’re looking for someone with inspiring, innovative ideas and the ingenuity to bring those ideas to life for our market-leading Loyalty product portfolio.

 

What You’ll Be Responsible for at Epsilon

  • Develop impactful go-to-market strategies that feature product positioning based on specific revenue and profit criteria
  • Collaborate with business leaders, marketing leadership, product managers, and each of our channel partners to develop annual marketing plans
  • Serve as the liaison between Leadership, Product, Sales, and Marketing to plan and implement new product launches and define product/market fit
  • Work closely with Product Management to understand new product capabilities and features
  • Promote fresh market messaging that stresses our differentiated capabilities
  • Act as the domain expert and thought leader for the Epsilon product portfolio you own
  • Collaborate with our Analyst Relations team to validate, influence, and drive awareness within the Analyst community
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking, gain customer feedback, and gather competitive insights to frame unique selling proposition of our Loyalty offerings
  • Lead efforts on marketing and sales content throughout the sales lifecycle, including presentations, one-sheets, case studies, FAQs, data or feature/benefit sheets, infographics, thought leadership content such as blogs, various client communication pieces, social media updates and web content
  • Guide joint value propositions across priority partnerships
  • Provide product positioning training and materials for the Sales team, including standardized sales presentations, scripts, etc

Job Requirements

  • You are located in Chicago
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university; MBA a plus
  • You have 8+ years of experience and strong product marketing background in loyalty marketing and/or marketing tech
  • You understand how to translate go-to-market strategies into succinct demand generation plans
  • Experience guiding product launches for SaaS-based products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with and present to all levels and functions of the organization
  • Have a proven record of translating and articulating complex concepts into simple and clear messages
  • You have an engaging, outgoing personal style, enjoy working on a team and supporting a talented, fun group of marketing professionals
  • You can project manage remote contributors and stakeholders efficiently and effectively
  • You are creative, resourceful, self-starter who is results-oriented and a collaborative team player
  • Highly organized with good follow through capabilities
  • You are tenacious, energetic, curious, and willing to fail-fast; ability to be flexible and multi-task
  • Will require travel 20-30% of time

Experience

  • Outside-in, story-based messaging strategies
  • Loyalty marketing experience
  • Marketing experience in a fast-paced, tech environment
  • Market research and competitive analysis
  • Analyst relations experience
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Workfront and SFDC experience beneficial
