Digital Marketing Specialist

We are looking for you to join our team. In this position, you will help members grow their business by crafting and executing cost-efficient, results-oriented, relevant digital marketing strategies.

What You Will Give:

  • Serve as a digital marketing subject matter expert to help members increase their business.
  • Communicate effectively with members to clearly understand their digital marketing needs.
  • Build and execute digital marketing campaigns that include social media, email, and website reviews.
  • Write content to be used in email marketing, social media, and websites.
  • Analyze and Review the results of the digital marketing campaigns for each member, adapt future campaigns based on the results.
  • Regularly present the outcome of the campaign to each member.
  • Train members as necessary on how to improve their digital marketing tactics
  • Provide inbound and outbound support by phone, e-mail, and text message.
  • Coordinate all related activities for successful executing of email marketing campaigns and social media posting.
  • Professionally respond to incoming messages and emails from florists and internal customers alike.
  • Accurately record and document all actions taken when working within a customer account.
  • Make dedicated support calls to ensure customer satisfaction of products and services.
  • Maintain key call and contact metrics for customer engagement
  • Respond to member cancellation inquiry and de-escalate in order to retain and increase member loyalty
  • Read and retain information from memorandums, newsletters and training materials to effectively service customers.
  • Participates in ongoing on-the-job training. This may include attending team meetings, huddles, one-on-one sessions with members of management, peer coaching, refresher training, as well as structured classroom training.
  • Perform Customer and Sales support as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What we seek:

  • 2 or 4-year college degree preferred; minimum 2 years' experience in a position with a high level of customer interaction
  • Previous Social Media or Marketing experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with Social Media Management tools such as Hootsuite
  • Previous experience with email tools such as Constant Contact or Salesforce
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Basic hardware troubleshooting and networking skills
  • Excellent communications skills appropriate for B2B client support both in the written and verbal formats
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Process and detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility, follow-through, initiative, and assertiveness
  • Team oriented, with the strong desire and ability to mentor, coach and motivate peers
  • Flexible to work an 8-hour standard shift
  • Ability to provide additional support during key floral holidays.
  • Working understanding of the basics of Accounting, Marketing or Business Operations.
  • Previous experience within a phone support environment
  • Experience with AS400, HEAT or other standard support systems preferred, but not required.
