POSITION SUMMARY:

Manage & Improve the MTT process for multiple brands/categories; act as a liaison between the merchants, cross-functional internal teams and the brands:

Track and maintain a calendar of MTT deadlines for all planogram updates and give weekly recaps to the team, DMM & VP, & the MTT Team on any status concerns.

Develop strong relationships with internal teams and brands, and follow up with the brands on their deliverables in the process, such as entering sku information into PIM, add/delete lists, exited item disposition, etc.Involve the Buyer, DMM, or VP as appropriate, with a recommended course of action (ie push out a planogram, etc) if a brand is not able to achieve milestones on time.

Develop a strong relationship with the merchant team and merchandising admins, and ensure that we are also completing our deliverables on time.

Work cross-functionally with the planogram & visual teams

Create best practices and processes to improve and streamline the MTT calendar process and execution, including creating new tools as needed.Learn from roadblocks and mistakes that come up to continue to improve the process.

Request and analyze heat mapping reporting on key planogram updates

Monitor progress on reducing E & F ranked sku’s for the department

Coordinate the Branded Displays for Mock Store walk-thru’s of the Promo Planner

Once the promo planner at a glance or endcap proposals are approved, notify brands of upcoming deadlines for visuals for the mock store walk-thru.

If a brand is not producing their own fixture, work with the visual team to request branded fixtures and graphics for secondary exposure.Request samples from the vendors as needed.

Collect all renderings, merchandise units, signage and products needed for mock store/promo planner walk thru.Present to the visual team at the Mock Store Walk Thru Turn In meetings.

Review renderings and displayers with the DMM & VP in advance of the mock store walk thru for feedback.

Attend the Mock Store Walk-Thru with the DMM & VP, take notes, and feedback changes/feedback to both the brand partners as well as the merchant team.

Complete weekly sales analysis of secondary exposures, looking at sales of these years’ exposures compared to last year.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree, preferably in a relevant field (Merchandising, Marketing, Business or Project Management)
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years merchandising experience
• Experience managing cross functional relationships and processes.  Experience working with vendors preferred.
• Strong organizational ability and can effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent people skills along with problem solving and time management ability
• Must be proficient on Microsoft Office platform
