ROLE OVERVIEW
This role will deliver UX recommendations for solutions being designed for various digital platforms – mobile web, app, and miscellaneous interfaces/displays.
You conduct best-in-class user research in your sleep. You’re driven to deliver next level data, direct from core users. You work seamlessly with ux, strategy, designers, and technology.
Responsibilities:
- Work with internal and external teams to gather information about their requirements, and determine what will be researched or usability tested
- Develop interactive prototypes for testing, with components delivered from UX / UI creatives
- Perform quantitate research on a project when appropriate and generate test plan, build focus group, moderate test and generate findings
- Optimize existing interface templates pulled from insights generated from analytics and consumer testing teams
- Bridge internal stakeholders: ux, strategy, creative, and technology
- Present research and UX recommendations to external stakeholders: marketing, technology, product, etc.
- Work with creative design team to bring UX recommendations to life
- Deliver accessibility knowhow whenever applicable, ensuring internal & external teams create accessible experiences
- Create and execute research plans, moderate studies and analyze findings into report(s) to provide design recommendations to UX Design team
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2-3+ years in an agency or software UX/UI researcher role
- 2+ years mobile app UI experience
- Robust experience with mobile app best practices across Android and iOS
- Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, or Sketch
- Experience with the proper development of UX & UI for mobile applications
- Experience using Sketch, Invision, ProtoPie and other UX/prototyping software
- Experience with fully responsive mobile-first interfaces
- Ability to break down complex ideas to internal and external stakeholders
- Strong comfort level with coaching clients without UX experience
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative research as well as agile methodology to choose the best methods for planning and executing research projects
- Experience creating common user research outputs such as personas, user journeys or competitive/feature analysis using tools such as Sketch, Figma, etc.
- Strategic and critical thinking capabilities across various project disciplines (i.e. solutions, strategy, etc.)

- Relevant training and/or certifications as a UX Researcher
- Knowledge of persona best practices
- Experience with Jira
- Experience with sweepstakes and promotions
