What we need
The Vice President of Marketing will lead Smokeball's US-based marketing team. Our ideal candidate is hands-on, able to execute and lead a team, manage vendors, has a collaborative and creative approach, and is looking for a role with strong growth opportunity. They will work closely with our global marketing operations, reporting directly to our President while partnering closely with our CRO. We are looking for someone who will work hard and take our marketing to the next level.
A day in the life:

  • Manage our agile marketing team
  • Own Smokeball's US Marketing budget and reporting
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns
  • Manage external agencies and vendors
  • Optimize our digital marketing in partnership with our external agency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams
  • Develop a strong relationship with our Sales team
  • Manage all brand collateral
  • Own our social media presence, website, and all marketing tools


What you bring

  • 6+ years' experience in B2B marketing; all-around marketing experience is preferred, though digital and events experience is required.
  • Experience with B2B SaaS marketing is desired.
  • 2+ years' experience managing a team of marketers.
  • Marketing automation experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Sprout Social, and Active Campaign (or similar tools) highly preferred.
  • A can-do attitude!

Jane Oxley: I'm Jane, and CRO here at Smokeball. We have hugely ambitious goals in Australia, the US, and beyond. Our team is collaborative, we have each other's backs, we're creative, and we are goal oriented! Outside work I, along with my husband, am an Uber driver to our 3 teenage girls. I'm a lover of yoga, live music, reading and lots more. I'm also passionate about small law firms and the important place they have in their local communities - I truly love working with these firms, it's something that bounces me out of bed every day!

Mary Ellen Kelleher: Hi, I'm Mary Ellen Kelleher! I've been working in Chicago tech for 10 years, starting out as a support specialist and working my way into Product Management. As the US Head of Product, I am passionate about building features which are intuitive and truly understand the client's needs. Our Product Team is autonomous day to day but collaborate heavily with each other and other teams to figure out sticky issues or to come up with the best UX for a new feature. Aside from work, I am an enthusiast for national parks, my garden, and all levels of quality of tacos.
