Leapfrog Online is looking for a Vice President of Account Management to join our team leading one of the largest accounts. The Vice President is the strategic advisor, account manager and driver of the digital marketing strategy for the client’s brand.  You are a digital marketing, data and analytics savvy above and beyond most of your peers in the market and you know how to execute against a professional services standard. You have experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver profitably against a P&L.

Responsibilities:

Strategic thinking and leadership

  • Be a strategic advisor and proactive account manager that builds strong client relationships and sets strategic marketing plans
  • Navigate client needs, objectives and challenges by continually delivering business results focused solutions reinforcing Leapfrog’s strategic business value to the client
  • Provide thought leadership and maintain a high level of ‘digital curiosity’ on strategies and marketplace evolution trends across e-commerce, SEM, Display, Mobile Marketing, Advanced Analytics, Social Media and Digital Attribution
  • Bring an understanding of the current martech/adtech landscape along and ability to apply to a client’s digital ecosystem

Team leadership and development

  • Flawlessly manage digital marketing plan development, client relationships and orchestrates internal departments through the setting of clear business priorities and objectives, strong communications skills
  • Manage and mentor the Account Team through inspirational and hands-on leadership --- providing active mentoring and guidance to junior staff on the business to ensure professional growth and business effectiveness
  • Partner with internal departments (marketing operations, consumer journey: media, creative, analytics, call center) in the successful development and management of digital marketing plans
  • Enjoys working closely with their team developing strategic marketing plans focused on growing the client business.
  • Continually look to drive business driving innovation to propel the client business forward

Business acumen and service mentality

  • Understand the levers of profitability and how to affect them; hold P&L accountability across the client programs you manage
  • Have entrepreneurial experience with a strong sense of accountability for speed and effectiveness of delivery
  • Owns senior level client relationships and works to contribute strategic value beyond tactical campaign activities

Qualifications:

The VP of Account Management must have a solid understanding of the online consumer marketplace and response-driven tactics. We are looking for someone who is comfortable thinking strategically and analyzing performance in a continually evolving, dynamic environment.  You must be able to build relationships with not only our clients, but internally as well. Leapfrog Online is a growing company, and to feel at home here, you need to thrive in a fast-paced environment, be self-motivated and a proactive problem-solver.

  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience of digital/direct marketing experience, related industry experience, preferably consulting, interactive, agency or direct marketing experience+
  • Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in client management
  • Demonstrated team leadership and development of both direct reports and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to speak fluently across all digital channels
  • Proven experience using various sources of market and customer data to develop marketing strategies
  • Deep understanding of the digital media landscape
  • Ability to understand performance and implications on marketing efforts
  • Exhibits effective independent thinking and management skills
  • Proven senior level relationship building skills and client interaction experience
  • Experience dealing with top tier brands
  • BA required (Marketing Preferred), Master’s a plus
  • An understanding of the Telecom space is helpful, but not required
