VP of Marketing

The Vice President of Marketing will bring vision, strategy and leadership to all Roti customer experiences. You will create a strategy that promotes the Roti brand through growth in brand awareness, advocacy, and loyalty to expand awareness and appeal. Work cross-functionally with our Technology, Culinary, Operational and Catering and Sales teams to engage the customer and our internal RoTeam members to create a dynamic experience that ultimately, drives traffic and increase revenues to be the Leading Mediterranean Restaurant Brand.

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Set and define a modern, data-driven activation strategy that supports key business objectives and drives an omni-channel brand engagement and sales

    • Develop data-driven and behavior-based prospect and consumer segmentation strategy that supports personalized and highly impactful communications and encompass customer acquisition, engagement, and retargeting strategies

    • Leverage data and analytics from multiple sources to inform marketing communications activities and investment strategies to drive conversion and accelerate sales results

    • Integrate behavior-based analytics, insights and processes into all key areas of the organization (Culinary, Operations, Finance)

  • Define and deliver “always-on Brand activation”

    • Identify, populate, and leverage strategic frameworks and develop real-time contact strategies using segmentation, targeting, channels, offers, messaging, testing, reporting, and analysis

    • Enablement of world-class integrated campaigns that are: 1) highly localized (e.g. for geo), 2) highly personalized (e.g. segmentation, nurture), 3) frictionless (e.g. conversions, hand-offs) and 4) easy to evaluate (e.g. through clean data, metrics and reporting)

    • Leverage agile marketing alignment, planning and activation

    • Define KPIs for performance and continuously measure, track, report, and optimize strategies and tactics

    • Coordinate all third party vendors, suppliers and partners, including PR and creative agencies

  • Drive omni-channel consumer journey planning and experience design to ease customer friction points and leverage potential moments-of-truth that drive loyalty

  • Designs and implements Roti initiatives on an annual basis, including marketing calendar, menu initiatives, strategic partnerships, promotional opportunities and customer research feedback

  • Direct Local Restaurant Marketing Manager, Operations and Catering teams on execution of local Community Partnership strategy that drives community engagement, positive brand awareness and trial

  • Oversees and develops a lean Marketing Team of 3 people

  • Assess the impact of programs and initiatives on the business in the near, as well as long term

  • Think strategically, and achieve day-to-day results

  • Is an excellent all-around representative of the Roti brand

 

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Fully embraces and embodies The Roti Way and brings it to life within the Marketing Team

  • Ability to work effectively in a small team and think strategically and execute

  • Excellent project management, collaboration and planning skills

  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced, rapidly growing environment including management of timelines, budgets, priority setting and resource plans (utilizing internal and external personnel)

  • Focused on delivering a positive, consistent experience to all RoTeam members

  • Detail oriented and consistently striving for organization and process flow

  • Positive motivational leader, always leading by example

  • Creative thinker who brings new approaches to challenges

  • Responsive to the needs of the company, and flexible when projects and priorities change

  • Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and can effectively interface with all levels of management, including executive leadership team and restaurant operations.

  • Commitment to driving excellence and high standards in all areas of their work

  • Strong time management skills

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • 10+ years marketing experience preferably in an innovative, multi-unit retail, restaurant or hospitality organization

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration

  • Master’s degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration is a plus

  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing a team of marketing professionals
