VP SEO - Credit Card
Job Description The Media center of excellence team is looking for a Vice President of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) who can support JPMC LOBs (Line of Business) organic search programs in delivering positive business results. This candidate should be confident in presenting to senior stakeholders at the LOBs, such as Credit Cards and Auto, and be able to clearly communicate performance and optimization recommendations. An ideal candidate would be a self-starter, with a passion for digital marketing who is ready and willing to roll up their sleeves to get the work done.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the relationship with external agencies, partners, and platforms to plan out projects and execute against, while implementing recommendations with internal teams
- Develop, execute, and present LOB SEO strategies to senior leadership to identify areas of opportunity to drive the organic search program forward
- Expand JPMC's organic footprint into previously untapped search space for both high volume core business terms and long tail keywords
- Manage publication of search optimized content, identify new content opportunities, and measure content performance
- Produce quantitative reporting and qualitative insights for senior stakeholders
- Partner with internal teams to implement initiatives around content, technical and authority
- Take ownership of tentpole projects such as a site redesign. Provide strategy, deliverables and analysis such as, search behavior analysis and migration mapping
- Evaluate and improve current SEO processes and opportunities and manage project workflows across multiple LOBs
- Create POVs, best-practices and assist in developing key process documentation
- Oversee internal content competition to prevent potential keyword cannibalization
- Stay current with industry trends and best-practices to best position JPMC to benefit from a constantly changing organic landscape
Experience Required:
- 7+ years of relevant SEO experience (agency experience preferred)
- Bachelor's degree
- Technical SEO expertise as it relates to content rendering and serving
- Deep understanding of content management
- Experience with performance analysis, especially within Adobe Analytics
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and eagerness to work as member of a team
- Experience with SEO software (BrightEdge, Botify, Conductor, etc.)
- Experience in web publication and CMS, especially within Contently
- Knowledge across JS, CSS, HTML, and familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) a bonus
