About the Role:

In the Software Engineer II role, you’ll collaborate with a dynamic team to design and implement new features and integrations that expand the functionality of our platform using .NET and C#. As technology evolves, you will also be tasked with refining existing solutions, ensuring they remain efficient, scalable, and aligned with modern standards. Performance is key. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving performance issues, leveraging an understanding of data relationships and proficiency in LINQ to create fast, efficient queries across a variety of data sources.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and test features for server-side applications using C# and .NET frameworks and technologies.
  • Engineer efficient queries and investigate questions around application performance and behavior.
  • Utilize source control in a collaborative environment to contribute code and to participate in code reviews.
  • Communicate effectively and often as barriers arise and as ideas surface.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technical design discussions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Four-year degree in CS or related field, or similar, relevant technical experience.
  • 3 – 4 years of professional .NET/C# experience/exposure.
  • Experience in SQL and normalized database design/querying.
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative source control concepts.
  • Conversational knowledge of Azure Portal and cloud-hosting/event-driven applications.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge in a guided, on-site programming exercise.
