Essential Areas of Responsibility:

  • Plan the quarterly merchandising sales strategy for the Goods business by building off of YoY analysis, seasonal trends and marketplace demand.
  • Work with the Goods buying team to optimize inventory levers for each sale, by optimizing pricing, discount, margin and scope of inventory included
  • Lead campaign setup and execution for collections, emails and promo codes relating to sales.
  • Coordinate with internal teams within Central Merchandising and Marketing to drive Groupon Goods’ promotional strategy in cross-channel events.
  • Manage sale performance tracking to drive improvements in messaging and planning
  • Drive efficiencies in the current operations by automating processes
  • Own delivery of merchandising collections and assets to cross functional partners
  • QA all event assets, ensuring all deliverables are hitting deadlines and quality standards

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in a similar merchandising or buying role; e-commerce experience a plus
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel and MS office
  • Experience in managing multiple projects at once
  • Exceedingly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to preparing accurate work
  • Able to work both tactically and strategically
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and overcome collective blockers/problems
  • Bachelor’s degree required
