Responsibilities:

Intermediate level –

  • Coordinate the execution of production schedules to meet organizational goals and client needs

  • Optimize computer system resources to enhance efficiency and performance

  • Address production-related issues promptly and effectively

  • Establish and maintain essential relationships with stakeholders to facilitate seamless delivery of information technology services

  • Supervise staff operations, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members

  • Maintain operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives

  • Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for enhancement

  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for various operational processes

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of operational activities with organizational objectives

  •  Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance and metrics 

Senior -

  • Coordinate the execution of production schedules to ensure timely delivery of IT services

  • Optimize computer system resources to enhance efficiency and performance

  • Address production-related issues promptly and effectively

  • Establish and maintain essential relationships with stakeholders to facilitate seamless delivery of information technology services

  • Supervise staff operations and maintain operational excellence

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational processes and efficiency

  • Analyze complex operational data and provide insights to drive decision-making

  • Create and maintain documentation for operational procedures and best practices

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of operational goals with overall business objectives

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to IT operations 

SME –

  • Coordinate the execution of complex production schedules across multiple projects and teams

  • Optimize computer system resources to ensure maximum efficiency and performance

  • Address production-related issues promptly, implementing effective solutions

  • Establish and maintain essential relationships with stakeholders to facilitate the seamless delivery of information technology services

  • Supervise staff operations, providing mentorship and guidance to team members

  • Maintain operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and service quality

  • Conduct in-depth analyses of operational processes and recommend improvements

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices

  • Serve as a technical advisor and subject matter expert in IT operations and service delivery 

Qualifications:

Required:

Intermediate –

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • 3-8 years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or a related field

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and operations management

  • Experience with production scheduling and resource optimization

  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for IT operations management

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities

  • Experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff 

Senior –

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • 8-11 years of experience in IT operations or a similar role

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and processes

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proven experience in project management and schedule coordination

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Advanced proficiency in relevant software and tools for IT operations management

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities 

SME –

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations Management, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in IT operations management or related roles

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex IT operations and service delivery

  • Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Superior communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Expert-level proficiency in operations management tools and technologies

  • In-depth understanding of project management methodologies

  • Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances 

Desired:

Intermediate –

  • Master's degree in a relevant field

  • Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA, or relevant vendor-specific certifications

  • Experience in government contracting or defense industry IT operations

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices

  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services

  • Experience with automation and scripting for operational tasks 

Senior –

  • Master's degree in a relevant field

  • Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or relevant technical certifications

  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)

  • Knowledge of automation and orchestration tools

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies

  • Experience in government contracting or defense industry IT operations 

SME –

  • Ph.D. in a relevant field

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL Expert, PMP, CISSP)

  • Experience in government contracting or defense industry IT operations

  • Knowledge of federal regulations and compliance requirements related to IT operations

  • Track record of implementing innovative solutions to complex operational challenges

  • Publication record or speaking engagements in relevant fields

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100-$172,400
