The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services (ES) Infrastructure Workplace Services:

RTX has an opening for an Operations Engineer Manager - ITMS Frameworks/ITIL (Manager, Infrastructure Workplace Services) to support our large-scale S4HANA and supporting applications.

This role involves working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and suppliers to ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

What You Will Do:

  • Sustain IT operations using ServiceNow and IT Service Management (ITSM) practices.
  • Utilize ITSM processes such as Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Utilize metrics and KPIs to monitor and improve IT service performance.
  • Manage relationships with third-party IT service providers to resolve issues and ensure service quality.
  • Support and maintain large-scale SAP S4HANA implementation and operations, particularly in collaboration with MSPs or through RISE with SAP.
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of our Azure cloud infrastructure, including monitoring and troubleshooting issues.
  • Coordinate the automation of scaling and capacity requirements within Azure environments.
  • Ensure performance issues within Azure environments are addressed by service providers.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience with ITIL or other ITSM frameworks, including hands-on use of ServiceNow and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or similar discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.
  • Experience in IT Operations and Sustainment leadership experience.  (new applications in production and non-production other areas this resource support sustainment)
  • Experience in MSP vendors to manage IT sustainment services.
  • SAP Experience
  • Monitoring and maintaining IT service performance using metrics and KPIs. (MSP/ SLA)

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience supporting large S4HANA ERP implementations, particularly with MSPs or through RISE with SAP.
  • Knowledge of Backup, Restore, Recovery, and high availability strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
