ABOUT THE ROLE
Centro’s Publisher Solutions team works with media companies, both traditional and online-only, to create new revenue streams by building out agency-services. The Account Lead – Publisher Solutions will develop relationships with existing media company partners to fulfill their digital media needs and maximize their potential on our platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in account management, product implementation, revenue generation and managing client expectations. Additionally, successful candidates will showcase thought-leadership and intellectual curiosity to seek out innovative tactics to solve business challenges. Knowledge of digital media solutions, demand-side platforms, data management platforms and the ability to communicate from junior to top level executives is a must.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Grow current partners’ revenue with Centro, and identify additional revenue opportunities, via a strong understanding of Centro’s technology and media solutions and a tech first approach Provide ongoing client management to partners including quarterly business reviews, proactive media plans and packaging for large opportunities, and client entertainment.
- Work collaboratively with cross functional teams, including Centro’s Media Services, Marketing, and Product teams, to drive revenue growth with new and existing clients.
- Coordinate and execute the sales launch of new business partnerships.
- Present in-market to executives and members of the sales teams approximately 2-3 nights per month.
- Educate existing publisher partners of Centro’s entire software and product offering as it continues to evolve in order to maximize revenue and efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years in sales or account management in the digital industry; experience at ad agencies, publishers, ad networks/sales houses, SSPs, DSPs, and ad exchanges preferred
- Experience selling online advertising; knowledge of programmatic buying and selling including: pricing models, optimization tactics, audience trends, and buying technologies is preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills – must be comfortable presenting in front of 50+ people.
- Strong quantitative aptitude and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in simple terms
- Driven and goal-oriented with the ability to contribute to a highly collaborative team environment
