Administrative Assistant, Chicago, IL

Under direct supervision responsible for performing various administrative duties. • Performs various administrative duties such as preparing documents, reports for managers and other partners in the unit/department, ensuring confidentiality.• Responsible for routine operational/administrative work.• Focuses on administering defined procedures, analyses and report preparation (overseen, reviewed and checked by other senior partner).• Schedules and coordinates meetings, for managers or other partners in the area. • May be responsible for data input, data processing and data verification.• Responsibility for maintaining and ordering office supplies • Maintains electronic and paper records.• Greet or assist clients or vendors. • Phones are answered promptly using a professional tone and greeting• Assists in the preparation and processing of documents.• Responds to general inquiries.• Participate in appropriate Life Safety activities with team members and attend training as required.

The successful candidate will benefit from having:• 1-2 years of related experience is preferred.• Detail oriented, problem solving and organizational skills are required.• Ability to think critically and to work well independently and as part of a team.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.• Basic PC knowledge and typing skills are required. • Basic knowledge of office procedures is required.
