Job Duties
The Application Support Analyst position is an integral part of the Enterprise IT team. This position will provide support and maintenance to the existing user community for all or some enterprise applications, specifically Workday, but also including Changepoint, SailPoint IIQ, FloQast, and others. You will investigate and assist in the resolution of application issues, data discrepancies, and identify opportunities for system enhancements and improved user experience. This position will also liaise with the appropriate vendors and broader IT team as needed and conduct user training and manage application deployments.
The entry-level position participates in or is responsible for problem solving/resolution, knowledge base capture and maintenance, troubleshooting application and product problems/issues, analysis and identification in trends, training gaps, business problem configuration issues and for overall customer service support for enterprise applications at CCC.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Provide high quality Workday product support across all financials modules
• Assists internal customers with problems, and provides support to users with systems- related inquiries and requests in a timely manner
• Tier 2 and Tier 3 application support including incident troubleshooting, issue resolution, and follow-up, may include system patching and upgrades
• Work with business stakeholders to identify and analyze business processes, workflows, requirements, issues and opportunities, and evaluate the potential application of new application extensions or modified technology solutions and/or business processes
• Resolve data discrepancies and integration issues between all business systems & applications
• Participate in review and understanding of changes to functional configurations, added functions for new software releases, assistance with testing and training development to increase functional application knowledge for quicker customer service/problem resolution. Demonstrate clear, effective, and readily understood verbal and written communication skills
• Serve as the lead for software release updates to include coordinating with functional leaders to test and prepare for system updates
• Troubleshoot end user reported problems or coordinate internal &/or external support as necessary
• Performs role of technical SME for assigned applications
• Implement Continuous Service Improvement opportunities
• Develop application and training documentation, standard operating procedures, knowledgebase articles, and communicate resolutions to end users
• On call Support during holidays and off business hours for anything that requires immediate production down attention
• Facilitate weekly program/projects status updates with associated teams on progress towards deliverables and milestones
• Escalate issues to leadership for engagement and resolution
• Apply technical expertise to resolve complex issues
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required
• 1+ years of experience with Workday Financials (business processes, validations, and reporting)
• Experience with Windows Operating Systems (both Client and Server) and Microsoft Office Suites
• High attention to detail; elevated level of concern about keeping the platform running smoothly
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently while keeping management informed of all activities
• Problem solving skills are must
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
