Position Description

When you join the Nielsen team, you’re signing up for an experience that requires flexibility, curiosity, and passion. As an Associate Manager, Client Service you will:

  • Be a strategic client partner and trusted advisor to key and complex clients

  • Manage the overall success of client projects, from setup to analysis, report writing to presentation delivery

  • Coach and provide detailed feedback to inexperienced analysts and drive development of senior analysts

  • Lead client meetings and own client relationships on a project-to-project basis

  • Maintain client standards: deliverables, terminology, questionnaires, study designs, etc.

  • Works cross-functionally and with account team leadership to deliver against client needs

  • Drives repeat business and sales revenue through outstanding project delivery

 General Skills

  • Understands Nielsen’s Innovation Practice products and services, forecasting theory and broader Nielsen solutions that impact innovation

  • Builds deep client relationships and is viewed as a trusted advisor

  • Ability to manage client expectations through the life-cycle of a project, ensuring client satisfaction by providing feedback, insights and updates in a timely manner

  • Grows relationships with clients

  • Strong analytical and communication skills; excellent attention to detail

  • Drives successful innovation outcomes for clients

  • Able to act independently, problem solver

Background and Technical Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 2-4 year experience in market research or sales

  • Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude

  • Strong Marketing/Research background

  • Relevant experience with research techniques & experimental design

  • Related industries include: Consumer Packaged Goods, Consulting, Information, Sales, Analytics
