Primary Responsibilities

  • The Business Operations Manager provides various levels of support to the KeHE Sales Team across all business channels with focus on improving retail execution to the customer. The Manager oversees KeHE's strategies with store level services and account management by creating innovative processes to produce top-end performance, achieve greater efficiencies, and obtain optimal financial results. The end objective is to create better business practices to achieve KeHE goals that lead to the ultimate customer experience.

Essential Functions

    • Manage and coordinate all 3 rd Party Service Partnerships.
      • Manage all onboarding, transition and implementation strategies.
      • Regular review of service status and adapt to business demands.
      • Conduct analysis and provide direction for necessary improvement.
      • Create and provide schedules and update as business dictates.
      • Responsible for overseeing date integrity.
      • Coordinate all Accounts Payable activities.
      • Conduct training exercises as necessary for KeHE Sales Teams.
    • Work cross functionally with multiple KeHE teams to address retail execution and sales growth initiatives. Manage cross functional projects that focus on best business practices that impact multiple teams across the organization.
    • Lead business improvement projects as per organization's objectives.
    • Practice fiscal responsibility; Conduct cost analysis and provide cost efficient strategies in retail execution to all Sales Leaders and applicable cross functional teams. Achieve desired results with known returns on investment.
    • Align with organization's goals and present results as per benchmarking analysis. Apply expertise in data mining, quantitative analysis, and data visualization to apply the story behind the numbers.
    • Support end-users, problem solving, troubleshooting, and anticipating outcomes.
    • Use variety of database applications and analytical tools.
    • Provide consistent training and development to educate Sales Teams on best operational practices.
    • Responsible for directing direct reports, specifically the Business Analyst-Sales Operations position to continuously improve sales support processes. Monitor and coordinate all tasks assigned to direct reports.
    • Coach, counsel, train, develop, and evaluate job performance of all direct reports.
    • Manage and coordinate all activities performed by Offshore Resources
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, math, economics. MBA or MS preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years experience in analytical role.
  • Previous experience in Sales Operations role preferred, wholesale or retail.
  • Prior experience in management and/or leadership type role preferred.
  • Proven advanced experience with analytic software applications, i.e. Excel, Access, VB, SAS/SPSS, COGNOS, JDA reporting, Power BI, etc.

Qualifications/Additional Skills/Aptitude

  • Self -disciplined and able to motivate self in remote work environment.
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends to support entire sales organization across various time zones.
  • Excellent analytical abilities, outstanding business acumen and an understanding of the intersection between processes, people and systems.
  • Ability to evaluate complex issues and project management skills to develop and implement actionable plans.
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills; particularly, the ability to deliver analysis in a clear and actionable format.
  • Ability to think quantitatively and qualitatively about operating processes and outcomes.
  • Comfortable taking loosely defined business questions and translating them into clearly defined technical/data/report specifications.
  • Ability to interact with, contribute to, and present to diverse groups; including senior leadership.
  • Carries a strategic mindset so that future possibilities are identified, and proactive actions are taken defining breakthrough strategies.
  • Possesses strong business insight so that knowledge is applied to advance the organization's goals.
  • Ability to articulate a vision and purpose so that others are motivated to action.
