Job description
We are looking for a Carrier Engagement Representative - German Speaker to help build out our network of carriers! Tasked with growing and scaling the project44 carrier network, you will be a leader, a salesperson, a carrier expert, a project manager, and an efficient operator.
Key Accountabilities
- Aggressively grow the project44 carrier network with a strong focus on truckload carriers
- Champion carrier / capacity provider / vendor entry to the project44 network by creating and owning the process
- Drive carriers / capacity providers / vendors to meet timelines, reporting and/or escalating risks to project leadership
- Assist internal stakeholders (Carrier Onboarding, Ramp Managers, Sales, etc.) with carrier outreach to reduce time to go-live and increase satisfaction for project44 customers and carriers
- Participate in planned and ad-hoc internal projects to drive internal efficiency and reduce carrier/customer time to go-live
- Demonstrating and communicating the benefits and value for carriers by joining the project44 network
Requirements & Preferred Skills
- 2+ year of experience in cold call sales and/or customer service, onboarding or upselling
- Solid communications skills
- Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills.
- Strong analytical thinker
- Outstanding attention to detail and project management skills
- Proactive and outgoing and knows how to relate and communicate with customers
- Self-motivated
- Superior pre-call planning, opportunity qualification, and objection handling skills
- Team player – focused on boosting the team results; willing to learn and share knowledge
- Ability to manage own workload and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
