Hired as an account management supervisor, Kim advanced to become Basis’ first-ever vice president of client learning and enablement. By leveraging company programs and advocating for outside resources, Kim developed essential skills ranging from editing tutorial videos to delivering compelling presentations. As Kim expanded Basis’ certification program for the adtech industry, she battled a tricky case of imposter syndrome, but her manager compassionately quieted those hesitations by reminding Kim of her years successfully managing a client version of the program.

One of the best parts of this role is being able to learn from your mistakes and do better. We are quick to learn and pivot.

After more than 15 years with Basis, Risch has a lot to be proud of professionally, but what she values most are her lifelong friendships with colleagues.
