Job Description

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Manage assigned block of new group and renewal business on a monthly basis to ensure timely and accurate completion of client implementations.
  • Oversee entire end-to-end post sale implementation process for assigned block of business.
  • Become fully knowledgeable of all carrier implementation requirements to ensure quality submissions.
  • Uncover key carrier contacts and develop solid carrier relationships. Stay abreast of carrier process updates. Attend carrier implementation trainings.
  • Build and configure client online benefit portals and conduct end user testing
  • Act as a subject matter expert in client online benefit portals.
  • Effectively develop, update and deliver system training and demonstrations to end users when initially on boarded as clients. This includes employee enrollment assistance and employer technical assistance.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in Health Insurance industry focusing on Employee Benefits, such as medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage
  • Active Health Insurance Producer license in IL and/or experience working with small group health insurance clientele considered a strong plus
  • Technically savvy with proficient experience with benefit administration software 
  • Experience with SalesForce or other related CRM tools.
  • Strong knowledge of SaaS software solutions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both internally (teammates) and with external contacts (carriers, vendors, clients, etc.);
  • Ability to thrive and maintain focus in a fast-paced, technology-based environment;
  • Flexibility and adaptability (processes may change; you must be able to change with them!);
  • Oral and written presentation skills are a must;
  • Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail;
  • Humor and humility because after all, this is a TEAM environment and we lean on each other to learn and grow
