Senior Vice President Commerce Center of Excellence
Within Bounteous, the Senior Vice President Commerce Center of Excellence is responsible for driving growth within a specific Solution area or Vertical Industry. They oversee the Go To Market Strategy for the Center of Excellence including Marketing, Sales, Service Offerings, Intellectual Property, and Partner Strategy. Commerce is a critical solution offering at Bounteous that includes a wide variety of specialties including strategy, marketing, platform implementation, and operations. To be successful, the Commerce Go To Market Lead will have to be effective in organizing and executing across multiple different teams using both fully allocated and partially allocated team members.
The objective of the Senior Vice President Commerce Center of Excellence is to set and execute a strategy that raises the awareness of Bounteous commerce services in the market; wins new and interesting commerce clients; delivers profitable commerce services that drive client results, and builds Commerce expertise and partnerships for the future. The Commerce Go To Market Lead will be measured by OKRs aligned with the previous items such as industry recognition and ranking, commerce revenue and margin growth, total attributable client revenue and margin, existing company certifications, etc.
Role and Responsibilities
- Create and gain approval of a three-year vision for the CoE that outlines what the CoE wants to achieve. This includes aspirational revenue associated with the CoE, target clients and client profile, market perception, etc.
- Obtain quarterly and annual OKRs for the CoE that enables Bounteous to achieve the objectives stated in the three-year visions
- Identify, prioritize, and bring to market Commerce Service Offerings that grow the business; commerce-related Intellectual Property around tools and methodologies that are most important to grow the business by partnering with the portfolio and practice lead
- Identify, prioritize, and manage new and existing partnerships with Commerce platform and service providers
- Support Portfolio Leaders in proactively prospecting into and responding to requests from existing clients
- Collaborate with SDR team to prospect into targeted clients
- Independently and in collaboration with the rest of the CoE, produce thought leadership content that incorporates Bounteous' unique offerings around Co-Innovation and Digital Flow
- Partner with Bounteous Marketing team members to plan and execute marketing events and initiatives
- Develop relationships with other industry leaders via networking, professional organizations, etc. that result in an increase of mindshare for Bounteous in the ecosystem
Preferred Qualifications
- 15 years of experience leading digital commerce projects, programs, and initiatives
- Expertise with all parts of the digital commerce ecosystem including customer acquisition, engagement, loyalty, merchandising, marketplaces, payments, fulfillment, inventory management, distribution, and customer service
- Experience with leading commerce platform(s) including SAP/Hybris, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, Shopify, Commerce Tools, Spryker, and/or other leading platforms
- Previous experience in producing thought leadership, speaking at conferences, and participating in the services sales process
- Experience working for a management consultancy, system integrator, and/or digital agency
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience required
