The Commercial Strategy Director owns the overarching Omni Commercial Strategy and prioritization tactics (e.g., digital, Private Brand, eCommerce penetration) in partnership with Enterprise and Brand strategy teams. They will define the Commercial Strategy roadmap and simultaneously manage a high-performing Commercial Strategy team. In additional to leading Commercal Strategy - this person will help influence strategic priorities and initiatives as well as the Private Brand portfolio. 

Recipe for Success - What's “in store” for the role  

• Manages high performing team, guiding project resourcing and QA of commercial strategy team working on key strategy development & initiatives 
• Owns the annual strategic planning cycle for the Commercial hub (and resulting initiatives)
• Acts as liaison between Commercial Hub and Brands, collaborating with Enterprise & Brand Strategy teams to ensure cohesive plan 
• Guides, tracks and reports strategic initiatives, roadmaps and KPI management
• Drives internal and customer facing strategy development & implementation
• Partners with all commercial areas to set ambition and strategy
• Develops and implements key multi-brand commercial initiatives 
• Plays an active role in orchestrating commercial Transformation
• Ensures transparency and cross-team understanding of key priorities through robust comms and program management activities
• Partners with Private Brands team to set PB ambition, liaises with key interdependent functions to ensure integrated strategy (i.e. sustainability, marketing)
• Drives Strategic Events and Engagement, developing mechanisms and programs to drive connection to strategy (in partnership with Comms)
• Leads and facilitates multi-functional and multi-brand workshops, forums and trainings
• Builds executive presentations for USLT, MB, SVB
• Supports PDL’s GSO partnership 
• Supports Vendor Strategy as needed on an ad-hoc basis 
   

The Essentials In Your Cart - The required ingredients  

• 7+ years of experience leading strategic initiatives; prior consulting experience is preferred
