What You'll Bring
Bachelor s Degree in computer science or similar, with 11+ years related experience
At least 5 years of experience in CMDB creation, maturity, and maintenance using the Remedy Helix 19.08+ platform (live operational experience a must)
Proven track record of overseeing and managing an operational space of several million configuration items (large scale corporate exposure), on-prem and within cloud providers
ITIL v3 Foundation Level Certification (or better)
At least three years' experience managing CMDB and IT Asset Management projects and programs within the ITIL framework
Experience in asset and configuration item identification, baseline definition, relationship mapping, and CMDB administration
Knowledge of Remedy Helix 19.08+ Smart Reporting, MS SQL, query-writing, reporting tools (i.e.: Crystal Reports, or a similar industry solution) relational databases
Solution architecture experience, including all operational processes that integrate with the CMDB
Understanding of the Remedy Helix 19.08+ CMDB Physical and Logical data model design, including Class Hierarchy, Identification, Reconciliation, Normalization, and Model Management
CDMB integration and federation to external data sources
Background in IT Service Management processes and solutions
Hands on experience with Remedy Helix 19.08+ ADDM Discovery, Service Mapping, Data importing, Business Services
Impact You'll Make
Implement system audit practices and conduct audits to ensure data integrity on-prem and within cloud providers.
Manage CMDB Data Analysts to ensure optimum operational health.
Set the vision and implement the design, development, and implementation of automated processes for gathering, populating, and maintaining CMDB data.
Works closely with customers, Systems Engineering and Service Delivery Teams to establish business requirements for the CMDB.
Help define and mature robust configuration management procedures and standards for using CMDB.
Ensure ITSM and CMDB alignment with ITIL v3 framework.
Act as a key stakeholder in the overall ITIL framework representing the CMDB area and processes.
Communicate CMDB activities to enhance general awareness of processes and standards.
Liaise and train internal partners whenever necessary.
