Consultant, Systems Analysis-IHM

Job Description

DUTIES: DFS Corporate Services LLC seeks Consultant, System Analyst in Riverwoods, IL to support the Core Banking Application from an incident management, Development Operations, and audit perspective. Work with the Banking and Lending team to provide support in Agile development, testing and platform teams as well as business incident management teams. Work with Banking and Lending department to support Discover and Business Technology initiatives. Develop strong understanding and big picture view of the core banking application. Participate in the core banking system from both a technical and business perspective including the platform, batch and application functionality. Work with agile development teams to understand functionality being implemented. Inform incident management, platform and batch teams of new functionality being implemented by agile development teams. Assist agile development teams by helping identify process automation improvements that could be implemented by the Development Operations team. Track and report on incidents that have moved to agile development teams through implementation. Document business and technical process flows as needed. Collaborate with other internal I.T. and business teams as well as external I.T. and business teams to complete projects. Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.

Skills

REQUIREMENTS : Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or related occupation: creating technical and strategy documents to implement solutions and guide implementations; participating in building and deploying automation including scripting, web service administration and code management; and utilizing technologies including .Net, Java, Finacle Product, Websphere, Database, HP ALM, Sonarqube, Github, Jenkins, Junit and JMeter.

Melissa Douros’ design team stays booked and busy. After recently completing a brand overhaul, they are creating a unified digital design language across the organization. As part of these efforts, they launched a new mobile app and got to see its impact firsthand. “It’s rare to see reactions to our visuals, but we did extensive user research and roadshows. There is a smile on people’s faces, a connection being made — that is what we are striving for every day.” Up next, the team will be “eliminating cold handoffs” to ensure every customer interaction is a warm experience.

This team pushes themselves and each other to try new things as we work to deliver the best for our customers.
