About The Role

As the Continued Education Training Manager you will have the opportunity to enable the rapid growth of the organization and continue to invest in the development of the G2 team through the G2 Vision and Values. You will work closely with your manager, the Head of Talent Performance & Development, to create, manage and maintain best-in-class talent performance and development experiences.

In This Role, You Will: 

  • Work closely with the G2 Head of Talent Performance and Development to create, source, lead and manage a number of internal training initiatives and development programs (e.g. leadership programs, performance management, HR compliance); Partner with G2 Manager of Onboarding as necessary for any training and development initiatives related to new hires
  • Develop, execute and maintain G2 talent development curriculums
  • Deliver engaging and dynamic training and development sessions, both in-person and virtually.
  • Partner with stakeholders and  cross-functional leaders, building trusting relationships with team members across the org, to support all employee development with an overall goal of improving team member performance and retention.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, inconsistencies or inaccuracies, or other concerns in current training programs, and providing feedback to the appropriate parties in a timely manner
  • Design and implement solutions to resolve inconsistencies, inaccuracies, and other concerns identified in current training programs
  • Manage L&D curriculums, course completion/program adherence and other necessary reporting in Learning Management System (currently using Lessonly
  • Assist the Employee Success team on rolling out training and change management on processes and performance cycles
  • Partner with stakeholders to build and manage elements of the performance evaluation process
  • Conduct needs assessments to determine skill gaps 
  • Create metrics and collect data to measure training effectiveness
  • Occasionally present findings and business cases to key stakeholders at G2
  • Facilitate/deliver other team member trainings as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in curriculum design, development, training, and delivery
  • Experience building blended learning training programs, both in person and virtually
  • Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles
  • Proficiency in creating training collateral, including creating basic graphics, one-pagers, whitepapers, checklists, and courses
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.
  • Dynamic, engaging, and agile presenter with the power to command a room, lead colleagues to moments of self discovery, while creating a safe environment to provide insightful feedback.
  • Ability to leverage data to measure training effectiveness and drive improvements
  • Experience in a fast-paced and/or technology space environment
  • Proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office Suite 

What Can Help Your Application Stand Out:

  • Certification in instructional design
  • Experience in managing performance evaluation processes and calibrations
  • Proficiency with learning management systems/performance management systems and similar software, specifically Lessonly or Lattice.
  • Experience selecting and managing external training resources/vendors
  • Proven experience using technology to support planning, execution, and project management
  • Experience with data analytics
  • Familiarity with  elearning software platforms (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia)
  • Cross cultural training and development experience
  • Knowledge, awareness of and commitment to initiatives supporting DEI
  • Passion for personal and professional development
