  • Is going the extra mile part of your life philosophy?
  • Do you thrive in a fast-paced, constantly adapting environment?
  • Do you want to do important work every day - but do it in a casual work environment where you can wear jeans?

We look for charismatic, passionate people to join this award-winning team!

The Client Services Account Manager is the main point of contact for our clients, and plays a key role in providing support to our clients on Paylocity’s Payroll and HR products and services. On a daily basis you are communicating with our clients via phone and email, helping them with both technical and non-technical issues. While you absolutely need computer skills, and ability to troubleshoot and perform basic computational math, this role is a great starting point for your Paylocity career! This role is ideal for those from other payroll services bureaus with a strong history of excellent performance, those from the hospitality, retail, or other service-based industries, or high energy college graduates with the appropriate coursework. We provide 5 paid weeks of solid training to gain industry and Paylocity-specific knowledge on our products and services.

Performance Objectives:

  • Provide thorough, accurate and ethical customer support to our clients
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members
  • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to research, troubleshoot, and walk clients through our products to provide solutions to our clients
  • Master our web-based products and software applications while working on multiple monitors and applications simultaneously
  • Respond to up to 50 calls and emails daily while consistently providing quality service, accurate answers, solutions, and follow-through
  • Assist with special projects as assigned
  • Work overtime as needed, especially during year-end (October - February)
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience and Skills:

  • A passion for excellent customer service and desire to do important work in an environment of change
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written are critical in this role as you will be communicating both by phone and email daily
  • Organization, self-motivation and self-management skills are absolute essentials in our fast-paced environment
  • Mathematical aptitude as well as an ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot effectively are a must
  • Computer skills, including Windows and MS Office programs required
  • Experience in a client/customer facing role within a service industry (service bureau, hospitality, retail, etc.) or commensurate experiences very helpful
  • High School/GED diploma required. College degree a plus!
