Job Summary:
As a Customer Success Manager, you will work with an established client base and be responsible for maintaining and growing sales from these accounts using our industry-leading solutions.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing the overall account relationship. Works with clients to negotiate contract renewals, cross-sells and upsells.
Protect and defend annual revenue and customer base.
Utilizes detailed knowledge of products and thorough knowledge of clients business to consult and provide solutions that will increase value.
Ability to sell on value in a highly competitive market. Consult with clients on best practices.
Liaise with technical support when necessary.
Keep accurate, detailed records of all sales activity in CRM (Salesforce.com).
Assist the customer in executing transactional opportunities.
Accountable for maintaining and growing assigned accounts by building relationships, solution selling, and closing.
Identifying decision-makers, determining customer needs, identifying appropriate solutions, and positioning these solutions with the customer.
Stay current with market/industry dynamics, competition, market pricing, and vertical market requirements, etc. to be best positioned for success in the growth and development of assigned accounts.
Responsible for updating relevant customer information - including but not limited to activity, funnel, opportunity updates, maintenance of monthly goals, customer proposals, and customer contracts.
Acquires and grows strong knowledge of products and services
There will be a high volume of activity to manage and support with a need for excellent organization skills
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Quota carrying technology sales or business development experience
Experience driving technology adoption and creating long term account strategies
Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing
Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, Cyber-security executives
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
2 to 4 years of B2B sales experience, SaaS technology preferred.
Strong business acumen and presence; comfortable selling at business owner levels
Preferred Requirements:
Large account management or project management experience
A proven track record for closing large and mid-size companies
Ability to adapt, overcome objections, and learn complex solutions
Ability to effectively present a solution to the client at all levels to demonstrate business impact
Goal-oriented, determined and target driven
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite Salesforce experience preferred
