Department OverviewThe Products & Services Organization within Motorola Solutions is responsible for development of the company’s mission critical communications and mission critical intelligence portfolio, including command center applications, Land Mobile Radio (LMR) and LTE solutions, as well as managed and support services around the world.
The Products & Services (P&S) Cybersecurity Governance, Risk management, and Compliance team drives risk-based cybersecurity management across all of P&S and provides priorities for the businesses from a cybersecurity perspective. It develops security policy, product/solution risk assessments, awareness, and training to fulfill these objectives.
This role will be within the team responsible for Global Cloud Compliance, and focused primarily on the cloud compliance activities listed below.
Job Description
Develops, maintains, and implements relevant policies and procedures to protect the security and privacy of information from intentional or unintentional damage. Performs assessments to ensure compliance with internal security standards and regulatory requirements. Assists in trouble-shooting security concerns and provides regular status updates of system security.
Participate in activities of the Products & Services Governance Risk Management and Compliance team, specializing in Cloud Compliance.
Assist with administering the FedRAMP program including overseeing the Continuous Monitoring, driving the Plan of Actions & Milestones activities, bringing new products through the FedRAMP certification effort and act as a consultant to development and operations teams on all areas of the FedRAMP program.
Assist in identifying security policy & control gaps and recommend remediation solutions
Collaborate with product development and information security teams to refine security strategies which protect customer facing solutions
Bring innovation and creativity in applying risk management to a dynamic and cutting edge technology business
Conduct periodic compliance risk assessments against Motorola Solutions Security Policies and Standards
Interpret & communicate information security policies & controls to business functions
Provide security expertise on large and complex projects
Help drive a longer term cybersecurity roadmap across the Products & Services organization
Translate software development industry trends such as embracing DevSecOps into policy and best practices
Tie into key company wide system architecture efforts
Increase awareness of the GRC role across all of Motorola Solutions Products & Services
Preferred experience:
Knowledge and experience in IT software development/support or IT Operations is preferred
Knowledge of cloud services provided by industry leaders like AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP etc. Hands on experience is a plus
Experience in wireless communication system architectures, the software development lifecycle, and DevOps a plus
Knowledge and experience in documentation of security policies, standards, and processes
Knowledge of business continuity / disaster recovery experience preferred
Helpful to have experience in the software development lifecycle, and DevOps
Knowledge and experience in documentation of security policies, standards, and processes
Should be a self-starter who demonstrates complete ownership over assigned objectives and is able to work independently
Basic Requirements
At least a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Security or related
4+ years of experience
